Probably...was just cleaning up a few tears over them going...not mine, the little locust. He had a really good time rearing them as you say. Came at a good time for him in lots of ways...

Wonder how lunch went? I should have called Rags or sent a picture via sms...

Atom Thai Luncheon Report. Chapter 1. The train

After picking up the car from the clutch man I zoom home to change and catch up on MWO.

Thinking the train left at 9:37 I got to the station at 9:33 and a few seconds.... the train had just pulled out of the station......

"Oh that's a bit of a bother" I thought to myself.

Half way along the expressway I realise I'd forgotten to bring Bathtub and Misty along.

"I'm going to be in trouble with Missy when I get there and the teddies when I get home" I think to meself.

I drove up towards Sinny, parked at Arncliffe and hopped a train from there, hoping it would stop at Erskineville so I could walk up to King Street.
It didn't.
So I hiked through the back streets from Redfern.

Some nice houses and little park areas tucked in all sorts of places.

Got to AT a bit early so nipped across the street to T2 and bought some ginger tea for Missy, it being her birthday and her going on holiday and moving into a unit and all.......

It didn't occur to me to do that. I shall hone up my phone photo transmitting skills.....

In fact, I clean forgot to take photos of Missy on her birthday!

The teddies were a bit upset with me, specially as Missy had brought along the special bling for them..

Missy was waiting for me at a front table when I got back from T2.

Big hugs and we sit down.....

"Hello Missy! Gee, you're looking well"

"Im eye? I fill luck shut"

Faux pas 1 to Raggsy.

"Well, you still look good anyway"

We caught up on bits and pieces, but we couldn't hear ourselves talk,
I was forever saying

"I big your perdon" and

"see thut a gun pluz",

so we moved to another table just as the waiter was bringing out the entrees which were........

Atom Thai Luncheon Report. Chapter 3. The food.


Entreees.....

Miang goong: a prawn with red curry paste, a sliver of red chilli, all covered over with crushed peanuts all sitting very pretty on a betel leaf.

Crab spring rolls: in a very light latticework batter with sweet sauce.

I had brought my camera, and had put it on the table but when we moved I put it back in my bag and forgot to take piccies.
The entrees were followed with Panag curry. We both chose it, and both chose chicken.

Penang Curry: a mild curry with eggplant, a bit of carrot, some bamboo shoots, kaffir lime leaf* and coconut cream.

Drinks: I had thai tea (pink and creamy) and Missy had Thai chilled coffee.

* When Missy comes to my place I'll give her some kaffir lime leaves and some lemon myrtle leaves to take back to the unit. But it's a susprise Undies, so keep it under your hat(s).
Anything else you want to know?

I might make my Palms super duper bread over the weekend. Maybe on Friday.

In other uninteresting news, I'm getting the yellow fun getz serviced on Monday (no Happy, not like your chooks) and detailed tomorrow.


NICEY: I was just thinking... now that you've made the effort of going over to the intrusive car people a few times and they haven't answered the door, yes, you now have a legitimate reason to slip a note under the windscreen....
