Roast goose was our Christmas treat when I was a kid. Haven't had it since. Beautiful magnolia, Birdy.

Well ... bugger me dead ... went to the Market and found Coconut Oil. Didn't know anything about it until I saw it mentioned here on the boards. Bought some. Is it supposed to be solid like ghee?

Now - we need to hear from Techie re his mum. Hope everything's ok.

The young guy who photographed my car is a whizz kid on modern photography and photoshop and computers. Then, blow me down, on Friday the parcel delivery man dropped off a parcel for me and started chatting about Isuzus (he has one) and then we got on to computers. Seems he is a computer fix it person. So, I gave him my Toshiba lappie to clean up. He came back with it yesterday and only charged me forty bucks. Bargain.
He also has a mate who knows heaps about 4wd so he's going to ask him what damage my husband has done to the ute.
This has nothing at all to do with you getting your assignment done......
What it does show that if I take time to chat with people they are mostly very interesting and want to be helpful, and that almost everyone except me knows about IT and computer stuff..... I can't even get my photos right way round :H

WHy don't I ever get handy people like that coming to my door????

Froglette the oil is solid until heated or until you swirl it around your mouth for a while...I've been known to have a spoonful when I'm a bit peckish brings back memories of chocolate crackles for some reason??

I still have a little bit of coconut oil left over from Sri Lanka when I was staying with the nunsn there. They made it up for me. Takes ages apparantly. Yes, mine is solid. You can get some super refinesd stuff that is liquid, but the real stuff is solid.

Ended up getting a ham and salad sanswich to take away, and a 300 ml bottle of coke. We wuz running late. After the whipper snippering I was allowed to hose down the trucks, which counts as part of my training! And learnt how to operate one of the truck pumps.

My husband (previously know as Mr Rags I discovered he drove the ute at 120 kph for about 25 kilometres in 4wd, then about another 20 km at between 90 - 110 kph... see above posts )
only had mince, but yep, we'll do it with pork next time....

There looks to be quite a few youtube recipes for pork ARSE. I'll take a look at them.
I wonder, can you stick it on a can to cook it like you can a chook????.

Yes you can do it on a grill preferably indirect heat or low oven for 5-6 hours. Microwave? Criminal!
