Well, just awoke from a brill sleep, and clocks put forward an hour. Love yer daylight saving.
The gig was just brilliant, thanks for asking. My bands debut was a hoot and went pretty well as these things go. Music biz wise, I met a music distributor/promoter sort of chick who was very interested in me music/band and wants to get involved somehow, so will see where that leads. If someone else wants to do the footwork and help physically distribute one's music out into the world, delegate I say. It was real good to see some great muso's and singers coming together and jamming for the occasion later in the evening, and the spark for some future musical collaborations was evident. Got cornered a couple of times by yer well meaning but long winded folk who'd had a few, so had to be on me toes between spending time with everyone and making sure bands were kicking off relatively on time and keeping all happy. We even made a few bucks for everyone's petrol, guitar strings and drumsticks. A bit frustrating when other blokes girlfriends want to root you after they've had a few rasberries, but all in all, a Top night.
