The bloody lorikeet and cocky were at it again Marilyn thought it a bloody hoot.


Then I dragged them to a scripture lesson so I wouldn't have to double back... Gerringong at 7 am a couple of weeks ago. You can some of the roadwork for the railway bypass....





We went for lunch at the old Boathouse restaurant right at the bridge at Nowra. Yummo. Then took them along the coast road stopping to suss out where the tornado ripped through 7 mile beach.. It cut a swathe about 120 metres wide.. bringing down everything in its path.




A couple of days later it was up to Laake Macquarie, where Mr Rags and Frank performed the Alpine Butterfly dance.





Frank took the helm for a bit.... we had to do a whole series of long tacks. At one stage we'd gain about 300 metres for a 1 kilometre tack! Then we got on the right quarter and WHOOSH! We were away. Staye dovernight opposite Gwandalan.. a lovely spot with hundreds of bellbirds.


For those who have never heard a bell bird, here it is. Frank was mesmerised. Couldn't believe it was a tiny little bird. (They also saw lyrebirds at Minnamurra and up from our place)
