Couple of days ago Mr Rags went out the kitchen door and nearly had a heart attack. This beauty was just sidling up to the kitchen door. It was probly after a mouse from the compost heap, and a bit of warmth as it had been quite cold the night before. We'd actually seen it on the roof of the back shed (aka guest accommodation) a few days before.







And this was last Sat at Bundanoon. A fun day. Bit difficult playing baggies with a crash helmet on but.

We love Toyotas but we did the Teddy bear esky test and the Toyota failed. It doesn't have a little door in the back and we took a cardboard box loaded with teddies to the Toyota place, as you do, and put it on the back seat then tried to get the teddies out, as if we were trying to get something out of the esky. It was impossible, so the Isuzu won. It has funky back oppening rear door. Wanted a space cab so we can sleep in the back.
Getting towbar and bull bar fitted Monday.
Then, when the canopy people get a mould, we get a canopy with the passenger side an opening window and the driver side a sliding window. Then over to Narellan to have drawers fitted , along witha 110 amphour battery. We had them in the Toyota and they are bloody terrific. Alll your gear stowed, and a flat sleeping area.


Going toglue some formica ont a piece of masonite and slide it onto the tailgate and that will become our table.
Next we're getting a foxwing and some side curtains and we are ready to get back into the outback again.
Mr Rags casually said "We can go and camp at Island Bend and go skiing again" Nearly fell off my chair... haven't skied atPerisher for yonks.

This'll be the last big campy car we'll ever own so wanted a new one as we want it to last about 15 years or so. We had the Toyota for about 14 years. Plus it'll tow 3 tonne so it'll easily handle out little trailer sailer.

Oh, and I had THE most amazing reversing camera fitted last week.(the back is very high and you'd never see a toddler or small child). Will try to get a piccy for you.

It's my formalMacDonald skirt. I'm too fat to fit in mykilt any more. Mr Rags had his kilt on (Macdonald of Ardnamurchin and Glencoe). and John the driver had something his wife bought over the innernet.

I asked Mr Rags to take me to dinner tonight at George's pizza place at Kiama. A longish drive but the best damned pizzas in the Illawarra. Wonder if they'll remember how to make the Raggsy special..

I tell you, I would rather give birth than have a toothache or root canal. And I had both my kids natural. Busy weekend here, playing the srs dance tonight and driving kids to timbuktu and back all weekend...Mr.G, thank you for the compliment....Rags, I will teach you drums on skype...or maybe we can jam with your bags.
