    Underoos - April Autumn Undies

    Evening undies!
I had a POETS day today, which was very nice after a week of long days. I got home while it was still light which was nice

Nicey, how do you feel about a little white lie .... "I have a regular visitor who has bad arthritis/bad knees/bad back and we try to keep the parking space free for him/her"

Sympathies on the "being forced into the position of nagging" ..... we have a bit of plastering that urgently needed to be done six months ago and Mr B kept putting it off. I even suggested getting a tradie in so he didn't have to think about it. Anyway, our house gets packed up next weekend and as of last Sunday it still hadn't been done :H ... and Mr B is now getting a bit stressed about how much still needs to be done. I am holding my tongue on noting that he wouldn't be in this position if he had done it earlier.

Talked to the lovely Rags today and we are going to have lunch next Tuesday which I am looking forward to enormously.

For those that love Newtown - I am lucky enough to have a four-month rental there for when we come back from the US! I'm looking forward to walking to work instead of the long commute.

As of today I have 8 more working days before I go on 6-weeks holiday - YAY!!
Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

Missy That's a good idea about the arthritic visitor. I could go park my little Getz outside Nicey's and make sure the whole street saw my ankle strapping. I could bring along my hiking stick for good measure.

I might just come up to Newtown a bit more oftener now... I haven't stayed with my mate Paul (who lives in Newtown) for yonks.

Missy, African Feeling which is way down King Street is nice, as is Atom Thai, Spencer Guthrie, the japanese restaurant down the side street near Missenden Road (I'll show you Tuesday) and the vegetarian sort of across the road near Madam Fling Flong.
I believe Erskineville also has some nice eateries. You'll be doing lots of laps in the pool to keep the weight off!

Don't forget the Middle Eastern/Lebanese ones around Redfern/Surry Hills. Yum.

TF- you have such a polite, well mannered personality. I am truely shocked, shocked I say, that you would consider this at all.

Please pass the smelling salts, I think I shall faint.

haha work was so funny I laughed myself into an asthma attack...so its a little family run airplane factory and the whole family is a little bonkers...well the FAA is in this week looking for problems, one they found is, we put alot of non FAA approved stuff in (they will upgrade stuff and not bother to get it approved)....so eldest family member, who is the one selling the planes and ordering the non approved stuff, puts blame on the employees. He came to work and went to cooking lunch for the plant manager. Says he doesn't want plant manager going out to eat, cuz while he is gone, us employees are putting non approved stuff on planes..hahahahahhaha

Hi Undies. I'm NOT going to let all the shit going on derail me. I'm now going to watch an episode oh "House of Cards" and immerse myself in a universe that's relatively sane and comforting at this point.

I went on a wonderful hike this morning after a fitful sleep. Listening to media reports from Boston area after midnight served little purpose but feeling awful this morning. Here is a pic of me with Tawn...I mean Viola this morning at the Gateway Loop. G wanted a hair shot (short, sweaty, and stuck to cranium). I think the G'ster thought me bald because I wear the hats? No :H

BTW, Viola is NOT collecting a urine sample. That is the water dish we use for Maddie on the trail..

Oh Undies as my last foray into insane competitions I am training for this (see link below). This involves Orienteering BHOG. The only time I will not need a hand held inhaler to control my Azimuth (orienteering humor I just made up) I do suffer from Asthma and that's NO joke. Thank Dog mine is NOT exercise induced, but frickin' allergies trigger it. Well here's the info...

Missy what is your NY ETA.? I'm flying into JFK Monday/Tues on the red eye. Mom is struggling a bit, another fall which was not too damaging but yikes, the third in less than 2 yrs. Broken wrist this time

                        Morning all,

Techie, your toupe looks great. It has a real natural look to it unlike mine. I'm trying the latest ones all the time, but as yet, to no avail. Why is it so hard for people to make a hair piece that looks real?!

At 18-22k's that trek looks manageable but no doubt a challenge. Sounds great big fella.

Yeah nah yeah nah. I tell's ya. Does anyone else use 'yeah nah' 'yeah nah' in conversation?

Have a pearler y'all. Especially my favourite people of all....you there, yes YOU there in the cheap seats.

                        Yo!

Geez ... I spent a hour this morning following the 'live' comments on the Huffington Post re Boston and couldn't believe the stupidity, ignorance and bias of some of the commentators. Unbefuskinglievable.

Might give that a miss from now on because it just made my blood boil. I think I'll revert to Googling my impending Brain Tumour ... much more relaxing and Mrs.Google never lies.
