There are many try hards Missy. I 've seen em all. Yer G-love, yer G-power, Yer G-mail.......all hopeless.

Brill rehearsal Frog. A couple of new tunes, and sounded huge. Lots of improv, all originals except for a Coltrane number, which we mangle quite noicely. Good blokes, so it's always a delight to catch up and turn it up.

Techie. Wendy asked me what I do last week. I think she's making eyes at me!

Thanks Reg! Hope you've had a beaut weekend friend.

    Noight.

aggg, all this food talk...i am on the colonoscopy prep and so very hungry...these people here eat grits like crazy..they dont taste like anything, they mix them up with cheese and eggs, sort of a white rice type thing. I would eat them now or I would eat anything really. I would eat green eggs and ham. I would eat them sam I am....Happs did you really say that to the copper??? I was laughing....Rags, I love that guppy thing..we used to camp alot till the kids hit teen. We still go sometimes....Mr. G, love me some Coltrane....piano player got upset with me Fri nite, says I was too loud while warming up and jamming with guitarist. She is 80 though, so I will let it go..she is getting a bit senile and will play the same song twice in the same set..I think it is wonderful she is still out playing though...

        Guten Morgen Unterhosen und Eierstoecke,

I say ... does anybody think Jonesey's a bit conspicuous by her absence? Dirty weekend perhaps?

Can't wait to hear how Nicey's dinner with the wonderful women went.

Birdy - hope the colonoscopy's all over now and you can eat your head off. Agree that it's great the 80 y-o is still playing and the punters probably aren't aware that she played the same song twice.

Had some lovely rain over night - not enough to do much good but it was wonderful to listen to.

Have a great, productive and joyful week. Everybody.

We're in Tasmania viewing property. Grouse soil. Separate tents for now but.

Bird, blame the guitarist. Everyone knows they play too loud.

            Ooroo.

That looks lovely Reggie. We're booked in at the Katz Apartments in Little Lonsdale Street... that has to be close to everything.

I'll go ginger crab as well thanks.

Ahhh Undies, I think grits might be like chokos... a filler.
Last time I got breathtested a few months ago I said to the copper, "You only pulled me over to check out my stealth Ferrari didn't you.... well, actually, it's a stealth Lambhorghini"
Fortunately the guy had a sense of humour.

I'd love to get that guppy, but a bit difficult to tow it and a trailer sailer!

Automotive Adventures Chapter 6: NRMA Towing.

                My day so far.
Drive new Getz to Getz shop for 45,000 service.
Mr Rags comes by 10 mins later in ute, picks me up, drive to his work.
I drive home in ute, ring Brake and clutch people.
Ring NRMA to arrange tow truck.
How good is it having a mobile phone.....
they will sms me when the towtruck is about 20 minutes away.
So am here on computer rather than 5km down the road cooling my heels.

The brake and clutch man understood when I said that the clutch and brake thingy was combined. He must be married.

How is Ms Rags doing? Laying well?

                    Underoos - April Autumn Undies

                    Well, heeellllooooo everyone!

Happy, happy Monday. I'm so happy today is Monday because it is the only day I work this week. FH has his op tomorrow and I'm going to 'work from home' so I can help him get sorted.

Dinner party was an awesome success! I wanted people to go about 2hrs earlier than they did which means they were having fun I guess. I made a lamb curry and a pumpkin, beetroot and pine nut risotto. All turned out beautifully. Desert was apple and raspberry crumble which was just gorgeous and everyone ('cept me) had two helpings. Noice.

Company was fabulous. One of the girls has a new partner (AGAIN) and has had MANY in the years we've know each other. This guy is mega rich and needless to say she views him as 'the one'!! They met online and he had just come from a long term live in relationship and was keen (his words) to get another relationship in place asap. I've heard that from a lot of men when their relationships end. They just have to get back in the saddle. He just paid the ex $1 million payout and she had signed a 'prenup' so she did ok huh?!! Anyway, the persona that our friend has led this guy to believe is her is laughable. And we do laugh with her about it. To him she is as pure as the driven snow, hasn't had a partner since the split with her husband 16 years ago. One time we had to rescue her from a 'farm' in woop woop when she went on a sojourn with a bloke she picked up at the local and decided after much booze and dope that a week in the wilderness in his sex cave was a brill idea! Man, what a rescue that was!!! So, there they were holding hands, swooning over each other, hanging on each other's every word. Noice!!! We gals just wink at each other every now and then. As she says "a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do....." A prenup (for what it will be worth) also firmly in place here. I thought he was a really nice guy and obviously he cares about her very much. I'd care about him too with a bank balance like he has, had me move into an enormous property over looking the local (very big) river, free boob job, new car and two trip OS since they met 14mths ago. This bloke is the father in-law of the son of my friend who was diagnosed with liver cancer last year. I keep stumm about that though. I kinda know more than they think I do, but that's fine by me. Before she met him she was living in the local housing commission with her daughters, her daughter's drugo partner and her brand new grand daughter. Again, noice......not!!

Techie hope your mum is doing alright.

                    Salute to Mr G.

Where is Bridge and who will sign her absent note?

So, Rags - you have two Getz? One yellow and the other.......red??

I've made a big bowl of quinoa porridge stuff with almond milk, chai seeds and shredded coconut - then top with a little bit of honey - yummilicious!! This should do me all week long.

Hope you're over your colonoscopy Bird. Not so bad huh? I remember panicking as I woke that I was awake and they might still be doing stuff. I was shouting I'm awake..... I don't like the idea of someone doing stuff to me like that while I'm awake - obviously!!

Now the parking situ. The weirdos won't answer their door. AND, the car hasn't moved ALL weekend. Parked directly in front of our bedroom window. I see other cars coming and going from the house but no-one will come to the door, so I can't have a reasonable conversation. Every time I went over and they wouldn't answer the door the angrier I got. Now, I just need to calm down again because it really is doing my head in. I had thought of the disabled friend scenario and when everyone came on Sat night they had nowhere really close to park and it was pouring. They didn't comment but it shitted me off. I have to let it rest for a while now though. No use making it worse by being angry when and if I do get to talk to them. FH has decided to let ALL the tyres down tonight...... Can't guarantee I'll stop him.....

                    Lovely to see you Missy.

Wish I was pottering too Happs. Just got another massive stats job to complete by next Friday. What's with these people - do they have nothing else to do.....obviously not!!

Oscar has decided the kitchen is where he truly belongs. Even if I get up to boil the kettle he comes and plonks himself in the middle just in case there is something on offer. When he notices us getting ready for bed he tucks his head further into his blanket and gives us whale eyes as we go past. FH left him in on Saturday night (well Sunday morning really) and he licked my face when he thought it was time for some fun. Suffice to say it woke me quick smart and my pillow was wet too!! Yuk.....

Last time I got breath tested I went over...because of mouth wash. I had to wait for half an hour and was tested again but the whole time I felt sick and was covered in sweat, even though I KNEW I wasn't over. I did get done DUI once and had to walk home which took over 4 long hours. I still get a gut cramp when I get pulled in ..... horrible memories do have a lasting impact. Uggghhhh....

Anyway, 'd better go and see what the hair yanker wants.

                    Have a gorgie week everyone!!!

Good news... it is only the slave cylinder.

The towtruck driver loves my yellow Getz, as does Phil the brake and clutch man. (Yeah sure, then why don't they make me an offer to buy it from me).
Phil said people like me put people like him out of business when I said it had about 258,000 on it and hadn't had brake linings replaced in all that time. So I took pity on him and asked him to check the brakes as well.
