For anyone interested, here is the show Raggsy recommended from SBS last night. It talks about (and tests) a drug in development touted as an alcohol substitute in tablet form. Apparently this tablet mimics alcohol to some degree without doing the physical harm
Don't know what the position is on cross-addiction, and wonder if it might not be fuel for the addictive brain. Might be the perfect gateway drug, eh?

Haven't forgotten the cob oven challenge, but competing priorities and all.....

Yes, it was a bit flat wasn't it. I was expecting it to be a bit more nedical//.. liver/brain damage etc.


I haven't forgotten the pizza challenge either, but My Husnband wants it raised off the ground...... a bit of a challenge.


Early night for me tonight.
My dentist has been trying for ages to save one of my teeth, but to-day it had to come out. Then we saw the problem... a lateral crack deep down.... impossible tofix/ save.
I wanted him to drill a hole through it so I coild wear it like a shark too th necklace but he wouldn't do it. Spoily sport.

OK I'm orf to bed .

The dog has already passed out sprawled all over the doona, and it just looks too good to miss out on. Besides I really missed her today and I want a cuddle.

Hi all
Drinking a heavy metal detox, which is mango, banana, cilantro and coconut water. I don't really like cilantro but...I think I'll go for the bounce house career. Bet the benefits are outstanding...joined the iron man 30 day challenge at the Y. Have to run, bike and swim about 10,000 miles in 30 days. Thought it might get me in shape for the Alaska trip..Tawny, your pizza is a beat. I wanted to bake bread in mine but never did...Bridge, the AL pill sounds interesting, sort of like a pot pill or something...prolly not a good idea though, but might be a good aid to help get off the real thing...Missy, I am excited for you!!...Rags, hope your toothy is feeling better out...liked your story, I think I know where that lady could put another tv, up her hubs arse..Techie, hows your Mom?
