    I thought credit and background checks are pretty much par for the course these days. They do both for my job and my job has got nothing to do with finances. Odd that she'd got so huffy.

          Hello everyone......

          It was a beautiful service for my Aunt today. My cousin (her Dad died right after mine) flew up with me. Today we had lots of tears, so many laughs and happy memories. Wonderful to see so much of the family but sad for the reason. My Dad died Feb 26, his brother on March 30 and his sister on April 22. So, today was a day of remembering all of them. My cousin's Mom had passed away 9 months ago and then her Dad in March. She said that she is so glad that she came up here to be with all the family. It has been so hard for her.

          Well - some of them decided to go out to the bar. I wanted to stay home with my Mom.

          I'll be home on Tuesday and am trying to make sure my plan is firmly in place!!!

            I'm so glad the service was OK Nora and you and your cousin were able to get through it together. Well done on not going to the bar with the others - I'm sure your mom was very happy to have you with her instead.

              I have had a crazy, busy weekend with more to do today. Sipping coffee and then Clay and I have to go do stuff for prom...can you say $$$$$$$?????
              I need to take the time to write a long post....I have some supportive things to tell.....but I need to take an hour and STOP

                  My condolences for your loss of your aunt, and her siblings. Let us know how we can help you get back into the routine of taking steps away from alcohol.

                  I'm singing in a concert this afternoon, 85 voice college-based choir with a chamber orchestra, performed in a church. It will be a busy day. It is a requiem, by John Rutter, and also a short Mozart piece. Nora, I will sing them for you.                         Hi Mama - I'm hanging in there thanks. How's your bubbly tummy going?

                        Monday morning :upset: Someone told me we just had a weekend but you could have fooled me! I must have blinked and missed it.

                        I have a big adventure planned today - I'm going to work by bus instead of driving! This will be the first time I've used public transport since my accident last July so will be interesting to see how it goes.

                          Nora, I'm sure it's been very tough with everything going on lately but getting back and implementing the plan will do an incredible amount of good. Thinking of you!

                          Have a great performance Sun. I'm sure the church has excellent acoustics and will be filled with sound!

                            Juja.....a few people here know it, but not all.....
                            I am finally ready to admit it openly...I had a DUI April 13 last year. Friday the 13th, can you believe it?
                            And I spent all weekend attending the state required DUI school...
                            It was horrrible and mind numbing. But now I can get my license back....
                            I will post more later......I want others to learn from my mistakes if possbile.

                              hey guys,i hate mondays! i dont know why i just do,that sux about the dui mama,ive never got one but thats only cuz i never got caught,i used to have an open can in my car most times fricken idiot,at least you can get back on the road now and i imagine it was a lesson learned,a hard way of course,you guys have a great monday,ill try

                              Drinkin won't help a damn thing! Will only make me sick for DAYS and that ugly, spacey dumb feeling-no thanks!
