One Step at a Time - April 2013
I haven't been very active or present here in the past few weeks. I know that I need to get back here to what works. And that means taking it One Step at a Time.
I want to tell you all how very much you mean to me and that you are helping on this journey even though I'm a little off track at the moment.

Good morning all. I was up with the birds (although I think they're sleeping in little bitches) house is now clean, builders are here messing it up again. Now I'm off and running for the day. I did take a minute to sit and enjoy some blooming tea. Dried flower blossoms that open up in hot water. Very nice and it gave me a few minutes of peace in a busy day. Love to all.

:l:l Nora :l:l So sorry for your loss my dear friend...
Nurdl and Sun - you gals are ROCKIN' this sober thing! It looks good on you...keep up the great work!!!
Well Sierra is going to her dad's TODAY...they basically forgot they were going to get her LAST FRIDAY...anyway, I was happy to have her home over the weekend. My nephew was out of town so it was just US. He made me so MAD yesterday that I almost kicked him out...but then we both simmered down and got over it. I was horribly bad yesterday, I did NOT go to the gym and then I pigged out on Jack In The Box...ugh, I felt sick! Like I had been drinking...only worse I think! I won't be doing that again. Back to healthy stuff today!!!
Oh lord, here comes the Mayor...he has a jar of pickles he keeps trying to share with me. LOL
Back later my friends!
p.s. Mama - you put me to shame with all your cookin and cleanin!!!
I POSTED THIS IN OUR OLD THREAD...LOL:heart:I love my daughter more than alcohol:heart:

Mama - You won't believe the nerve of the nephew. For starters, he left for the weekend and left all his clothes in the dryer. Then he gave MY pool key to his mom (yes my sister) without even telling me so we were looking for it and Sierra wanted to go swimming. Then he left out a bunch of food overnight and I had to clean it up. So basically I reamed him for all of that, but of course he had an excuse for EVERYTHING. He told me that Sierra goes to bed hungry so he "felt obliged to feed her"....I said "What the hell LITTLE BOY???", then he said he didn't have time to take his clothes from the dryer (mind you, he was OFF all day Friday), then he said giving the key to his mom should be no big deal (and that's true...as long as he tells me he is loaning MY shit out....)
I asked him if he wants to continue living with me, because I'm getting the impression that he doesn't and he said yes he defitintely does...so I laid some new rules down!!!:heart:I love my daughter more than alcohol:heart:

Mama,
Yes depression sucks big time. That is part of the rason I came back herre recently. i would get depressed for no reason, and then I would think about a glass of wine...ergo, back here!
So this is my therapy, perhaps?
could your depression be anything physical?BHOG
