Boston has me a bit down and very angry.....when 9/11 happened, it was my first day of chemo , so I wasn't really focused on what was happening around me....
so I think I will stay here in my hidey hole with FT and be safe and wrapped in the blanket of love you all give me.....I love my family more than alcohol.:h

I am glad to say the other threads are simmering down...they always do, we are only human after all and there WILL be many opinions which lead to disagreements...
FT - I have my fingers, toes, legs, arms and eyes crossed for you! LOL I submitted my resume yesterday too for a job in the Police Department. So please do the same for me. HA :h
I couldn't watch the news last night at the gym...it just gets to be too much. I figure the major events will be summed up, no need to see every little detail. Thank goodness for my iPad and Netflix!!

let's just say we have a very "fun minded, team oriented" corporate mentality...that tends to get in the way of real work....
Our convention theme this year is "The Future is Now" and each property team has to sumbit a picture.....
So me and my assistant that is leaving....sniff, sniff.....will be aliens (cute ones of course), and my maintenance team will dress like Men In Black. We are converting our golf cart into a spaceship......I love my family more than alcohol.:h

I WISH MAMA!!! I WOULD LOVE TO WORK THERE!!!! Does my "shouting" convince you??? Damn...the perfect job is 3,000 miles away! :upset:
My old corporation used to have very fun team building events. Of course they had private money (to the tune of racking in 15+ million a day). Now I work for the government and have to beg to buy a new pencil. My "laptop" is a legal pad. A day at the spa is going outside and sitting by the water fountain. A free lunch is whatever is left over on Friday when they clean the fridge. Need I go on?? LOL
BUT (and I keep reminding myself this), my family is here and my daughter loves it. We're on a budget...but happy!:heart:I love my daughter more than alcohol:heart:
