K9 I'm pretty sure feathers are fine for the Police interview, they only frown on it if you use the whole chook. :H

I'm struggling today. I have some problems to work through and learning to deal with them sober and with no sleep is no fun. Alcohol has been my fallback to medicate chronic pain, anxiety and depression for so long it's hard to know how to do it any other way.

GHE, you're in a tough place. I'm sure someone here can tell you how to deal with depression and anxiety w/o alcohol. How about starting a thread on that topic? Hang in there, babe.:lipstick: Plus, you can open up to us about your struggles, you know...

First day back at the work, and forgot it's Nat'l Library Week! We were slammed from promoting it. My legs, feet and back are killing me. The extra weight I gained eating and drinking this weekend didn't help. I have never, in my life, just sat, eaten and drunk (mostly AL) for 2 1/2 days in my entire life. I will not visit there again, even tho I love the woman dearly. Sobriety and health at all cost. I feel like such a pig.

Wear the feathers, K-9. I'm sure it won't hurt.:H

Hi Everyone!!!

Where you at Mama? You usually post before me! I hope you're not still dealing with a headache!

So last night I worked my ass of at the gym and then went home and had a piece of pizza and some pasta (yes I am "supposedly" on a juice fast but I was starving!!!). To make a long story short, the food had the same effect on me as too much alcohol. Poison in a different form. I felt like puking after I ate it and I woke up feeling like I had a hangover. I need to find a balance here...what I'm doing is not working...PLUS I keep gaining and losing the same 2 pounds over and over. Time to Google up an answer. LOL

GHE - Hope you're doing ok...let us know k?

Juja - Just start over, that's all any of us can do. Believe me, we all have things in the past we'd like to change...I cringe thinking of some of the things in my past. HA
