so...I offered the job to someone...perky, sweet, cute...and then HR wanted to ask her something about her credit....common practice....and she sent the nastiest email saying her credit is none of our business and she didn't want the job...
HELLO........you deal with money and keys and personal information....
needless to say, I am floored......

It's probably for the best Mama...she's obviously hiding something. I mean come on...nobody has perfect credit (especially these days), but the fact that she won't just be honest about it is a huge problem! You'll find someone else...

I've always been honest about my 2 DUI's on job applications, and I've gone through extensive background checks. The fact that I put it right there in black and white has always worked in my favor!

Hello Everyone,

Mama, I think most employers know there might be a few blemishes on everyone's past but like K9 mentioned, they just don't want a prospective employee to lie about it. It's sad we have to rely on backround checks and not their own word but I guess that's the world we live in. The process definitely sifted out an employee you didn't need in the house.

Looking forward to the weekend and spending time doing things I enjoy with people I respect and love. Make the most of it everyone!
