Don't worry - they do great work. Most of the animals are only adopted and are there 'cos they were in danger in the wild. They do great work in the ezoo.
Great programme on Dublin Zoo on RTE 1 I think - started again last week around 7 ish.

If I was there I would go to the zoo with you! I love zoos (the nice ones, not the mean ones) and cute animals. I think I just ruined my heavy metal image there but yeah me + cute animals = very happy inchy

Last time I went to a zoo I fed a giraffe and was gobsmacked at the length of it's tongue. Dunno how they fit them into their mouths when they're not using them...

I don't like the locky up zoos either Jacks... and the one time I went to the circus it preyed on my mind for weeks after. Gawd, I got an audio book out of the library to play in the car a couple of weeks ago... a collection of short stories about animals by David Sedaris... and almost had a nervous breakdown when the guy started telling one about a dancing bear being mistreated. :upset:

That was very thoughtful of you to cremate a bit for him! LOL! I've been thinking about that Beef Wellington and I've decided that, at great expense, I'm going to make one next time I have folk over. I went and got a selection of mushrooms after talking about it and I cooked them with garlic and added sour cream... they were organic and delicious... poor man's beef wellers! ;o)
