    Army thread 3rd April

Aaaargh!!!! Here I was, happy as a clam and already prepared to go out for dinner tonight and let them kewk for me as it's been a full on kit hen here the last few days... when I get a text. I had TOTALLY forgotten that I'd asked the Wan Indoor's friends over for dinner after us being at theirs last week. Fuck, fuck and FUCK!

What to bloody well make? And shop for. Ah hell... LOL!

Howizyiz? Pardon me lack of manners!

Glad you're feeling better Whizzy. I misinformed you when I said I had a bug... it's post nasal drip from the feckin allergies making me queasy. Gack!

Arsey... you sound STOKED with the cottage... that's really cool! )

Went to my first after care last night. One heck of a collection of some of the strongest women I've seen in a while. I'd like to see that lot storm one of my regular AA meetings and shake things up!!! *winks at Mollers*!

Feckin dinner. Gah! Roast lamb or another frikken ham? Or should I pull the stops out and do Beef Wellington?

It'll be a Costco run then Boggy. I'm kinda thinking lamb myself. They're Italian (Jersey) so they prolly don't cook it that often. Fingerling potatoes, mint sauce, asparagus, cauli cheese, ye olde gravy and an interesting salad. Game plan... )

Well, we're a bit eclectic around these parts given the heritage... some might consider it overdressed for Boca Raton but "what the hey" I say! :H

(That's a damn nasty look he's got there...) But the sporran positioning is perfick!

My allergies are off the charts just now! I've been using a cold thingy (like the thing you put on sprains) from CVS for my face... it helps although it's a pain having to lie there for 10 mins...

Oh, I hear ya Zenner! I slept great last night for once, but woke up like my head was going to explode. Today I am getting one of those Netipot squirt bottles. I have to do something. I wish they made a helmet made out of those cold thingys. Sending non-boogery thoughts your way, friend...ahhhhhhhhhh chooooooooo!!!!

                        LMAO @ the helmet!!!

I use a spray thing... the NeilMed one. Also, you can make your own solution and save spending money on the wee packets they sell... just mix sea salt and bicarb in boiling water. And, I boil regular tap water in the kettle and let it cool to avoid buying the purified water... it's the same thing at the end of the day. My Allergist Doc clued me up on all that stuff a couple of years ago, to save some money.
