Its just slow and general decline with Granny, doesnt help by having one infection after another. As i say it is part of life and i see it everyday on the ward, just harder when its someone belonging to ya, if ya know what i mean?

A late hello from Philadephia. Saw my daughter perform in Richard III and am amazed at the talent. I am still on a high from being so damn proud! Today is her 19th birthday - the first of her birthdays that I have not spent with her (she's at college). We took her to dinner last night, but I can't help feeling a wee bit melancholy about her growing up! Hope everyone is well!

I'm fine, thanks for asking. Even if you see it every day on the ward, it's still very sad. I don't think you can ever get used to it.
