Back in hotel after a very emotional run. Thanks for all the positivity very crowded course and brilliant support all around. I was made to feel like a rock star as I came 6th in my category.

Evening army not long back from my AA meeting which was good as it included a 10 minute meditation session which was relaxing. There wasn't many people there though so i had to sahre but i waffled along ok i think and i got a lift from a memberi know from going to various meetings. Well done whizzy on your score i hope you have a slap up gourmet meal to celebrate and a lovely evening ahead. Just putting on dinner then just chilling been up since 6am. :television::chef: Been a mix of sun and showers all day and still a bit chilly.

Gadzooks - 13 pages of posts I just read! Just got home a while back after going to the mountains to see our eldest sing her heart out in her college choir - wonderful!

Congrats to you Mrs. A! I wish I had the inclination to excercise. I lost 20 pounds, but certainly need some, um, adjustment. My butt is showing signs of gravity. Oy.

Mama - I am so sorry you are still sick! Blech!! Feel better (you and the fam)

Inchy - congrats on 2,000 posts - hope you are doing well.

JC - new toys hmm? Fun!

Anyway, hope all is well and looking forward to more Spring weather. OK, just praying for Spring weather at this point!

Evening all from the ongoing saga of the kindle.
It's one of those that can also be used like a tablet. So I'm able to log on here, FB and also download games and books. Trouble is I feel as if my fingers have turned into ginormous sausages and I'm just banging and prodding at random things.

I have set it aside before my brain drops out.

Next is to put the sim card into the new phone. There could be tears before bed time.

RANT ALERT

Well do nothing of huge importance. Met mother DD and sis in the
& had coffee. God family would wreck your feckin' head.
All with their own agendas. One at a time is all I can cope with these days.
My sister has to be the MEANEST person i know..... I leant (loaned) ? her €50 about 2 months ago to buy something - I haven't asked her for it - but today i really got pissed off. (She would ask out straight for €3 if you owed it to her.)
She waltzed into the coffee shop with €7. FFS My mother was coming and it didn't enter her head to pay for her just this once. Jumped on the Q before DD and mother arrived in case sh'd have to pay something.
Ended up I just paid for the lot - she left with the feckin' €7 after getting my DD to get her another cake & tea -- unreal -
This is nothing new - but today the pettyness of it really annoyed me.
Mr S can't stand how she carries on and will sit back and make her pay her way - he is not mean but has been stung a few times.....!

Rant over - I've over eaten too and feel STUFFED !!!

Too much technlogy can be bad for yer - one thing at a time is my advice. Leave that 'ol kindle yoke till you have mastered the phone. Is it an iPhone ??

my phones great - the y key doesn't work, the charger has to be blu-tacked in and sometimes it sends texts or calls numbers when it should be locked. cost ?9.99 and looks like the gay version of a blackberry
