    Army Thread Monday 22nd April

tiptronic_ct;1495567 wrote: Reccie: I've only bought a brand new car once before. They tend to lose a whack of their value the minute you drive them off the showroom floor. You can normally get a good deal on a demonstration model or a 1 y/o with low mileage. Just don't opt for a former fleet vehicle. They can be lemons. In Saffaland at least, you can save up to 30% compared to the price of a new vehicle.

It also depends on how much you drive. I do upwards of 30 000km a year, so need to buy low mileage. If you do much less than that, you can easily buy a 4 y/o car and still get many years of reliable service out of it.
Another Xpost. Thanks for that, tips. I'm a very low mileage driver these days...about 4000 miles a year or 6500km. A demonstration model sounds like a good idea. I'm just a little bit wary of shelling out a few ?1000 on a used motor and ending up with something that breaks down on the way home. No one in my family has ever bought a second hand car, except for my brother who once bought one from someone he knew, and I don't really know anyone, present company excepted of course.

      Evening all,
Had to rise from me sick bed to sumfing very, very important for Satz. Love you, girl.:h and that's not just because of the wellies, honest.

The car we've got a the moment was the demo one, only a 1000 miles on the clock and got a whack off it and a load of goodies to go with it.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

:hallo: zenners. You snuck in there and I didn't spot you. A trip to the opticians is on the cards. That's what my mum tells me anyway.

        Edit: :hallo: Jackie too.

I know Tipps! I'm starting to feel like something of HGTV!

Reccy... my car is an ex-demo... I bought it with 4,000 miles on it and saved a bunch of money over buying it new. I would defo recommend a demo car, like Tipps said...

There's pills for that. I'm sure in the humongous bunch of stuff I got this morning something will work for X-post syndrome.

              Yo there Zens.

It's not bloody easy, quitting. They say it's harder to kick than any drug or the grog.
