apologies for disappearing on Thursday. By the time I got back off the bus I was shaking like a washing machine on the fast spin dry cycle. You know....the one where it goes for a wander all around the kitchen before parking itself back under the worktop again. So I did what I had to do to control the shakes, then read all those lovely messages, composed a lengthy reply to them and then decided I was in no fit state to be posting, so hit the cancel button. Anyway, I really did appreciate the kind messages and was genuinely touched by a couple of them.

So...I'm fortunate enough to have found a friendly face with the help and encouragement of you guys and I sense that I'm in good hands. Next week I hope inchy will also be sitting down in front of an equally friendly face or at the very least obtain an appointment to see one.
I thought you sounded a bit too calm when you posted! I was, like,

That's the worst of it over. The second worst is the first day. Then it just gets easier and easier... ) I'm glad you're feeling good about it, and that you have a "friendly face" to guide you through it all...

Well. Here is what they told me in rehab, IOP and now aftercare. "The people that don't talk about themselves and aren't active in group are not getting as much out of this as they could." So it's a good thing that you discuss things with us Reccy. It means you're progressing, even if it doesn't feel like you're making steps...

              :wavin: Sweetpea...

That's not all my garden hon... wish I was that rich lol! My garden stops at the pavers and the plant pot behind the BBQ. These pavers are Cheryl's... that's how close me and one of my besties are... literally! LOL There are no fences between the back yards of the houses. I'll take a pic of what's my back yard if and when I get the bleedin thing into shape.

Thank you! Yeah, it's been hard work.

Another huge project is commencing in the front yard this weekend. Remember that area I plant every year? Well, we're ripping it out and putting rock in. Sick and fed up of planting, weeding, mulching, throwing out dead plants. It's not a good area for things to grow and I'm fed up fighting with the bugger...

Oh feck you got that right! Before she moved in there was a woman with a wee dog called Mozart that barked all.the.feckin.time. Whether the woman was home, or out... non-stop barking. It drove me nuts. And the neighbour on the other side of Cheryl is a bit dodgy... I'm REALLY glad I'm not next to her. My house is on the end so I only have one neighbour to deal with, and she's me mucker... so that worked out well.
