Good morning, Army. A bit of a blue Monday here at the southern tip of Africa. The national bus drivers' strike is still in full swing, so it was chaos on the roads. Poor Mrs. T's chest infection is also getting worse - we'll need to get her to a doctor today.

It is, however, a beautiful autumn day - blue skies, mild weather and just a bit of a breeze.

Morning JC, Tips, Pinky, Molls and all the rest to come - it's supposed to be a rainy week this week in Philly - three days straight - eek. At least it is not snow.

Sorry to hear about Mrs. Tips! Those chest infections are buggers. JC feel 100% soon, ok! Healing prayers and thoughts to all!

Feeling "off" the past few days. Hopefully I will ge getting the vitamins I ordered. (TMI alert men) - I think I may be starting the "change" at 48 - I am not feeling myself. Hormones all out of whack and my anxiety is through the roof like never before. It's almost debilitating sometimes. Never had this before. Life is good, it's my brain that is not. I have read that it is a symptom of perimenopause and can be treated with diet, exercise and supps. Here's hoping. This is the pits. I am fine on the outside, but inside I am a freakin mess.

Anyway, hoping everyones Monday is wonderful and I'll check back laterz.

A day off for me today so I can have a proper read, been up about an hour, 2 coffees down, have to head into town and mail off the last of my orders today. Had a good clean out of my room yesterday so now have enough free time to finish up some gift art for likers on my page - trying to get a little done before Wednesday (official start date of the 42 day sober marathon... eep xD)

Good luck with your new job LPC - hope you enjoy it.

Tips: sending good vibes Mrs.T's way, had a chest infection earlier this year and it definitely was not fun. For once looking out the window I think our weathers as good as yours - I'd almost forgotten the sun was up there haha.

JC: Hope you're feeling better

Molly: Must've gotten up about the same time as me xD Will be looking out for that at 3 months (determined to get there at some stage before heading off to uni)

Inchy was havin a look at your plan too but wasnt sure how to respond or if you wanted a response. As Molls says we are all different and on our own individual paths to wherever. Would just like to wish you well for the 42 days, taking it one day at a time and see how you feel then. Personally, i wouldnt feel comfortable with planning a drink as a reward, but thats just me. Seriously do wish you well tho

Hey anon - I am up by 5 am - my body will not sleep after that! It is the only time in my entire day where it is quiet. I covet that time. I have people constantly around me after that. I swear I feel like I am being pecked to death by chickens sometimes.
