Good morning Wreccie, Pinky, Mrs. A, Mario and all to come

I'd better give the sleep fairy a disguise... She was in South Africa as you suspected - I had a 10 hour sleep.
      I'll do whatever it takes

Gooooooooooooooood morning Reccybear, Pinkles, Our Whizzy, Marioooooooo, Sweetpea, Tipperooooo

Just had enough of the sleep fairy to keep the peace at JC Mansions.

Saw that about the British Aid to SA, but have to admit I didn't read it. Shall I read it and get very cross.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

Now I've gorn and read it.
Gawd the amount of money the UK hoy out in aid, that's next to nothing and it's a good cause it's supporting. Ach I dunno.

I'll just keep knitting me baby hats.

Less controversial news. I'm making an educated guess Jenz and me will be taking a look at this over the next few months.

The government ring-fenced the Department for International Development's budget Jackie, so I guess that means SA's loss will be some other country's gain. I've no particular views on the matter.

Baby hats? For the Boston babes?

Hang on while I polish me halo.

Not the Boston Babes they're into baseball caps now.

It started out knitting wee baby hats for preemie babies and I kept going. I must have done 100s. The lass next door gives them to a charity that sends them all over the world including SA.

I know EB is soooooooooooo unPC, sexist and all the other awfulnessy type things in the world but when you're 9 they're the bestest books in the world.

We've both got a soft spot for them.

Me too Jackie. A lot of people in our sort of age range were brought up on them.
