Hang in there, Firefox! I can't say enough good things about Antabuse. I was the same - no willpower to quit for good and kept slipping. I couldn't get more than a few days of AF time in. Now I'm on 17 days and sleep is better, work is better, workouts are better, just everything is better.Well it's all right now. I've learned my lesson well. You see you can't please everyone, so you've got to please yourself.

Morning all Hope you are all well. Working from home today - thought I could sleep in a bit, but the body clock was not having it! Raining here in Philly which is good since we just planted the yard - we are in a rain deficit so anything helps. Have a good day all

:hallo: Army
Back from service provider event. Had a lovely breakfast, and the presentations afterwards were actually worthwhile. A lekker goodie bag - nice pen, notebook and memory stick, amongst others. Back home now - part of the work-from-home brigade today. Have to take mum to the dermatologist over my "lunchtime" - she had a cancerous growth removed some time ago, and it has come back.I'll do whatever it takes

A big well done to Inchy.
Yep...really well done inchy. :goodjob: And congratulations on the 150 days, spidey, that's a fantastic achievement!
JackieClaire;1503201 wrote: Thinking about Reccy myself, Molls. Wondering if he had another appointment yesterday.
I did Jackie. Nearly missed it cos I wasn't quite safe to drive when I woke up. Did a hasty google and found I could get to where I had to be via 2 buses and made it to the bus stop with 15 seconds to spare. I'm starting to get the hang of this bus taking lark! The appointment went ok, but I didn't quite hit my target of 140 units for the week...ended up with 149. This week's target is 105 which may also prove to be a little overambitious. :upset:

Week on Saturday for his Lordship.
I trust things will go well for Mr JC. Is he nervous about it?
anon;1503215 wrote: Mr A being a bit better he is lovely with everyone else but I think I really irritate him with my new personality
That is a shame whizzy. :l I guess it's going to take a bit of time for him to get used to the new you. I'm sure he prefers the way you are now to how you were when you were drinking.

Moroccan chicken, couscous, braised sweet potato with cinammon, stuffed mushrooms. Nothing for afters :upset:
Roasted butternut squash and apple soup with chilli oil. I never make afters. Can't be bothered really and most of them seem to contain rather a lot of calories.

Well done reccie on getting to your appointment .
Had 4 hour sleep today feeling really tired still.
Takes a while for them to realise and accept the change.
I think I was the one causing all the arguments when I was drinking - 'cos for a while Mr S was so defensive. Used to shout back and I hadn't even said anything. Kinda prempted my response.:H
But then I didn't respond and he looked bemused.
Oh I'm deffo much happier camper these days. I like to think I am now very zen like and calm ommmmmmmmmmm !!!

My theory is that we are calm and that rubs off on them Molls ?
Takes a while as the dregs of the narkiness is still there - but deffo change in both parties !
Wasn't calm in work today however -- zen went out the shagging window when I encountered THE rudest woman I have met in all the years I've been in the library --- I was in a right friggin tantrum so I was!!!!

running now to avoid missiles :H
