    Army Thread Friday 10th May

    Good morning army

I've had a read back of last night's thread.

We seem to have a few wounded troops at the moment, I hope you're feeling better today foxy and that your foot's not too sore. Good luck with the doc. And I hope satz's and zenny's aches and pains will ease up soon. Are you planning to see the doc again satzy? And lastly I hope you managed to get a decent night's sleep, whizzy, its's not nice being tired like that.

Sorry you drank inchy. I can sympathise with all the pressures you're under. Try to not let the drinking get too out of control if you can - it'll only make it harder when you're next ready to have a shot at being AF.

Went for a walk earlier - it's very windy today. My plans for the rest of day include housework, paperwork, and taking poppy to the vet for her boosters this evening. Nothing very exciting, but it should be enough to keep me out of trouble.

And blimey, it's Friday again already! Where did the week go? Enjoy your day, whether you're working or bimbling or, as in my case, pottering.

Good morning Wreckie and all to come

A blustery day, eh? I detest strong wind.

I have a day pretty full of meetings and shite, then dinner with friends tonight. Attending the cubs' sports day tomorrow morning and then shopping for the Mother's Day gathering at our house on Sunday - for mum, MIL and Mrs. T.

    Have a lekker day, all.
    I'll do whatever it takes

Good morning Tips, Wreckie and Sweetpea.

Windy here too Reccie I cannot believe we had that little taste of summer earlier on in the week and now it is winter again:upset:

Sweetie I well remember those long working days and how I used to feel disconnected from the rest of the world when working in the hospital.

10 hours sleep last night and feel so much better this morning. I really do need to pay more attention to both my physical and emotional well being.:new:

        Have a great Friday Army

                  Finished pootling.
Might have a bit of a chat to meself.

                  Howareya JC.

Fine, although I keep getting cramp in me left calf. Read somewhere that tonic waters good for that or is that malaria?

                  How's the S&H?

Beside himself with excitement being in Florida. Just throbbing the food.

                  And Mr JC?

Had a call out at 3am this morning. But it's his last on call for 12 weeks so he's quite chuffed someone needed him.

                  Your Jenz?

Haven't seen or heard from her since last week. But I'll wave a leg of lamb under her nose that'll bring her running. My very own carnivore.

Both cramps and malaria Jackie. Quinine is the active ingredient, I'm sure you're already aware.

Spent the last hour and a half cleaning the feckin oven and still have a fair bit to do. It hadn't been done for a lot longer than I care to admit. The instructions said don't use oven cleaner, don't use scourers, just wipe with soapy water. I don't think they've ever tried to clean an oven before if they think it can be done with a feckin dishcloth and soapy water. By the time I've finished I think I'll be fit post on the *%^$%&+&%$@%$ thread.

Thanks for the suggestion Jackie. It did say not to use oven cleaners, but I guess I could test it on a small inconspicuous area first. I'll get some on Wednesday for future use (there's a Lakeland close to where I have my appointments).

Morning Army sunny but windy and a bit cool here. Was raining when i was awake earlier. My oldest cat Ollie woke me up to let him at about 4.30 so i got back asleep till bout 9pm. I need to clean my oven too Reccie the sides are self cleaning but the floor is stained on both the top and bottem ovens and the glass doors so i'll be looking for that oven cleaner in Tesco's Jc. Off to There later when i have a shower. Not much planned after that either just some housework change my bedding etc. My foots a bit better but still a little sore and swollen. Have a good friday folks i'll be back later.:cupajoe:

                              Nope tonic water.

But seeing how my pootling has come to an abrupt end (over whelming urge to cook) I'll make a nice rice pudding with the milk.
