I dunno zenny. The patient is in intensive care, may or may not survive. It desperately needs a few heavy downpours. Don't think I can face digging it up and returfing it again so I'd have to pay someone to do it if it came to that.

Where's inchy? Check in if you're lurking please inchy.

I did some returfing in the back and it's a pain in the bum. I've been so fricken tired since doing all the deck and yard stuff, I haven't even been out to enjoy it FFS.

It sounds like your tapering is going well...

Jacks... I forgot to tell you... I saw hats just like your beanies again the other day in a wee craft store. they're popular!

sorry guys haven't read back, have some pretty crappy news. I'm going to be away for a few days -the dodgy friends of my brothers I have spoke of previously trned out to be worse than thought. I came home today to find my house had been broken into, and items of my mothers jewelery and my laptop stolen. naturally I'm distraught and without a computer (I'm using my other halfs for now) I'm still pretty much in shock but for a way to end a crappy week, this has got to be up there.

          hope you're all well.

Good to see you arsey. Don't know what's going on, but it really shouldn't take this long for them to get you connected to the Internet? Something's wrong there.
                .
Hey reccie. Basically my ISP can't connect me until BT connect my cottage with the phone line (I think that's what's going on)... anyway... to get an appointment initially took 2 weeks. Mannie came out but it needed something else done - this was done - and so another appointement had to be made. This was for Wednesday just there... I phoned to say couldn;t wait about all morning, but would leave the keys with nextdoor... The mannie came but wouldn;t enter the property alone... so, have yet another appoointment arranged... and so it goes on...

It really is not easy when they require you to take a whole half day off from work - this is very difficult for me, as I expect it would be for many folks - especially as I don't know my neighbours yet, so not as if I can ask them (assuming they're not working either!) to be in the property with the mannie...

All this to get on line...

                Bring back 1988...

Inchy so sorry to hear about the break in. The scumbags. I had a break in a few years and some jewellery and small amount of money taken plus finding the place ransacked when i came home. I had a old pc at the time so that was plus my dvd player. The scummer got caught as he had quite a record and was a junkie. He could be out right now. I had to install an alarm so never had another. Anyways glad you are with you're bf tonight.:l

I'll come and house sit. Fancy a wee break over the border. In fact I fancy I fancy a very long break over the border.

Must go and snarf down some egg and chips.

Back with your teas and toast later on.

Ah...now I understand. Had a few dealings with BT myself when I worked in IT. I'll confine myself to saying I wasn't terribly impressed. Hope you can get your phone line connected up soon anyway, but it sounds as though it may be a little while yet before you'll actually have Internet access. In the meantime, please do log in whenever you get the opportunity.

Best of luck with Windermere by the way. I hope the problem with your foot will clear up before then.
