    Sorry man ! i knew my wife was seeing someone else at a time when i was sober (AA). i was indiffrent to it , i dont know how you feel? the silver linning is i was never really in love with her anyway 13 years of my life down the tubes. i did get two wonderful kids that i take care of out of it ! no a wonderfull gf two yours latter and found someone that i truly love. hang in there!

      Thank you everyone for your feedback and to those of you who offered support. We are separating with no concrete plans (yet) for what happens next. Needless to say, with everything going on in my life, I won't be around here very much, but please be reassured that I have not fallen off the wagon.
      In the middle of my life's journey, I found myself in a dark wood, as I had lost the straight path. It is a difficult thing to speak about, how wild, harsh and impenetrable that wood is. Just thinking about it recreates the fear.         Oh Alky, just wandered into your situation and i am so sorry. :h

        This addiction takes a lot from us, doesn't it? This sounds trite of course but whatever your wife has in her mind at this point will most likely change as you move along in your journey. Perhaps you will move back together, stronger, wiser.

        I bitch about my husband all the time but there's no denying that despite the shit I have put him through, he is much different towards me as I move away from AL. It is scary good if that makes sense.

        Anyway, am thinking of you and sending major positive prayers your way,
