                      Hi All
I want to say thanks again for the congrats. Yes people do get sober and go on to live a fun and full life without al. It doesn't mean life's problems go away. The pain , the joy , all that life has and that other people live through without al becomes a new world.

Hear me when I say the things you worry about at the start of recovery aren't even a thought in your mind down the road. With time your confidence gets stronger and stronger. Yes it gets easier and al just isn't part of it. I am a non drinker. I am also an alcoholic knowing that if I did chose to drink I would be right back to the lifestyle of a drinker.

It is easy for me now because of all my failures over more then 8 years trying to get sober. I say easy because I finally proved to myself that I can never control my drinking. Being an alcoholic takes the choice away. No ideas about drinking ever again.
So to those that are in recovery like me make not having a drink the most important thing you do each day.
