    Death of a friend

Tough day. A friend of mine passed away today of a massive heart attack. It was immediate and his wife tried to revive him. He left behind a young child and teen..as well as his poor wife. My heart is broken for this family. I want a drink of wine.. but I am staying strong in my weakness. Rough rough day.

      Death of a friend

      Justyo,

My heart is with you, sweetie.:h

Everyone here tells me that drinking won't erase anything ....at least not in the long run. I hate hearing that at times especially since its so blasted true....

Hugs and condolences to you and your friends:l

        THANK YOU

Thank you. Somehow my brain is telling me that a drink will make it feel all better. Its a lie from the pit of hell but none the less... being numb is appealing right now. I stand firm on my commitment. Pain will not lead me back to merlot

Grieving and recovery are two very exhausting processes. So when we combine them, it can take a toll. But your recovery will help you to grieve properly and keep your self esteem and health intact. I'm so sorry for your loss.
I light candles every night for my brother, and I make tea with his tea pot. It helps.

Thinking of you in your grief, Justyo. You will be proud of yourself when you look back on this sad time.

So sorry to hear that. I am inspired by your resolve that grief will not lead you back to Merlot.

Sudden death is so hard to comprehend. Thank you for being here
