The freeway we take into Cape Town has been closed due to protest action. We're still at home, waiting for things to clear up. Don't want a brick thrown at the car or worse. It just means my day is going to be hellishly long :upset:

Och well... just another day in South Africa.

Good morning Tipps and all to come. Awake since silly o clock again so going to try get asleep for a few hrs. Have to tackle the grass and weeds out back if the day keeps dry. Pulled up some weeds yesterday but still a lot to do with overgrown hedges and trees. Have a marvoulous monday.

We had a few drops of rain last night, but not nearly as much as I was hoping for.

I beliieve pinky will be sitting her first exam today. If by any chance you check in this morning pinky, I really hope it goes well for you. Knowing you, you'll have done everything you possibly can do to prepare for it.

Off to get coffee no 2 and do last night's washing up. Bacinabit.

Molls, I am getting quite used to having the gaff to meself. I was just thinking I've got settled into my own routine and the kids are coming for dinner tonight. They are not having my jumbo sized burrito I got meself or my frozen yoghurt.

Update. He's had a painkiller that I can't find the name off, but it's working and he's getting a wash and shave from a nurse. He'll be in seventh heaven.

Good morning all. Slept like a log last night 26.2 miles running a very hilly marathon is a great cure for insomnia but perhaps a bit too dramatic. I wonder if Runners is feeling OK I am sure he is as he is Scotlands answer to Mo Farah!
