I did it. I made it two years without drinking. This time 2 years ago I was suffering from a cold and my final hangover. Today I am so grateful to have my drinking days behind me and looking forward to more sober days. In the past 2 years I have had an AF vacation, did another program at school (this time a degree and not a diploma) and graduated college for good. I am so proud of myself of what I could do and I know that if I were to continue to drink, I don't think I would have done so well in college. (got 1 A- a B+ and three B's on my final term). I owe it to God and MWO for showing me the way out. You all can be where I am today. Just remember to take it ODAAT and just because you go on vacation does not mean that you can drink. Scandinavian learned the hard way that drinking on vacation does not work and now he has to start back at day 1.

I quit drinking on March 8, 2020. Taking it One Day At A Time and no more taking my quit for granted.
Also doing it for me. I got to stay sober for me.
Just consecrate on today and do what you can to remain sober for today and worry about staying sober tomorrow, tomorrow. -

Well done driftyalison, the two year club is a special place to be..I have a drink problem, I have been AF since 15 March 2011 and I am working hard to stay that way

Wow Drifty, well done. You must have started soon after I started TSM, as you've seen getting free of alcohol's grip on you is an amazing journey.I used the Sinclair Method to beat my alcoholic drinking.
