    GIBT Chicago passed away!!!

    I am shocked! I just saw on Facebook that GIBT passed away on the 13th of May!!
    I can not believe it!
    R.I.P. old friend! We spent many hours chatting!!

                    Oh that is sad news. Everyone who knew him family and friends included are in my thoughts and prayers.
                    I quit drinking on March 8, 2020. Taking it One Day At A Time and no more taking my quit for granted.

                    Also doing it for me. I got to stay sober for me.

                    Just consecrate on today and do what you can to remain sober for today and worry about staying sober tomorrow, tomorrow.

                        I just got a message from a military friend of GI's...
                        He was gravely ill. He died of liver failure, all his organs shut down.
                        He will be laid to rest on the 29th, with full military honors.
                        Guys? ALCOHOLISM KILLS damn it!!

                            That has made me cry. Such a waste - I've read some of his posts there(
                            What age group was he Sol ?
                            I didn't ever chat with him but just always try to build up a picture of someone
