Crikey been trying to get back on here for the last while so I could give a big wave and welcome to Gee.

Staples are out. Healing nicely so he doesn't need a wash down with the dishcloth at the sink any more and can have a shower.

Postman hasn't been yet. He always leaves us 'til last cos he hates me because I reported him for some unsavoury and downright racist remarks.
I asked him one Chrimbo if he was busy, you know in that nice chatty way and his reply was .............'Not really. There's that many ethnics round here and they don't send cards' then added 'Did you know the f***ing shops are open late at this time of year. I'm fed up with delivering parcels'

He got suspended for 6 months.

I nearly cried I was so angry and I was going to offer him a mince pie.

Morning all! I have the day off today, thankfully. I don't think I could deal with one more day there right now. We got a huge client at my company a few days back - one whom I had worked with in the past. I have a great relationship with the client already (who is known to be extremely demanding.) Everyone thought I woudl be awarded that cleint (myself included which was stupid) but they gave it to someone else. The reason was they did not want to shift my clients away from me because I have the most difficult clients to deal with and no one else would be able to handle them. Kind of a backhanded compliment I guess, right? I get passed over for things like that for that very reason - has happened more than once. Plus the fact that you have to have a penis to get anywhere in my company and that is not happening...lol. I am super thankful for my day off today - I just don't have any "oopmh" right now for my job. Deflated. Blah blah blah, right?

Anyway, it is hot and humid here in Philadelphia. My hair has it's own damn zipcode. Frightening, really. The kids get a laugh though Going to take the eldest to work, take the girls to softball after they are done at school, then C has a Sports Award ceremony tonight where she will be getting a nice award for Volleyball. It should be lots of fun. Anyway, sorry to ramble - hope everyone is well.

Just back from the local mall. Splurged a bit, bit I'm sure the guilt will pass. Always wanted one of those mega kitchen machines - mixer, blender, juicer, processor all in one. Plus I got Mrs. T some lovely earrings for her b'day - moonstones set in silver.

Yep. It's a Kenwood. The model is named after a character from a Shakespeare play,though. I only happen to know that because The Tempest was one of my prescribed works in Matric.
