I have a blocked crapper. Do you know how many Youtube videos there are on how to unblock a crapper? All of them are ugly. After trying three different methods, I decided to cave in and call a bloody plumber. Hate hate hate not being able to do stuff myself.

Had a gorgeous half day with my 26 y-o niece yesterday who came up to see me before she embarks on a European adventure of unknown duration - max 2 years. Got very nostalgic thinking about when life was so simple...

Look, I see this sort of thing ALL the time round my way. People duct taping nanna on their backs, the kiddies, the family pet, the sky's the limit. I tell's ya, i'm gonna look for a skydiving joint that does duct tape. Much safer than straps and buckles etc. I reckon...
He's going to have to do that every day now that he's started! And why not.

Re audio engineer. Met with the lad today. Looks like we're not too far off the same page, so we will begin with me transferring some audio files to him forthwith/shortly, and do a couple of sessions to see what the vibe is. He can work a couple of ways.. appx $600 per song from scratch, or $40 per hour. Geez, I can put down half an album in 8 hours, which would cost me $320. I think he's used to working with yer far too fussy, non shuka bag wearing, man bag carrying daffodils that take 10 hours to record 2 guitar tracks. Anyway, he has a good attitude and he demonstrated flexibility with knowledge/execution of the Warrior pose, and recording approach.

Don't sell your organs yet Blondie!
