Yes Noicey. That Liberal party tucker menu was totally out of order, disrespectful to Julia and women. It's not a message we want men, in particular younger men to hear. Just saw a Man therapy.org ad on tele. Yestee I went to a mens health forum put on by Vic health dept. There were 3 excellent bloke speakers. One was Tass from beyond blue. A bit of a beaurocrat but he's having a crack, and the man therapy campaign is still being tweaked via punter feedback he said. It is a bit of a cheesy campaign, but my view is it's better than nothing, and it's so good to see men's mental health being funded and out into mainstream media to get more dialogue going in the community, and hopefully among more blokes. It was acknowledged that women are often the one's encouraging blokes to seek help, as many men try to handle it all themselves and bottle it up till something breaks. Bit of a stereotype, but true often enough.

No for dog's sake, I can bend. My feetsies are waterlogged. My body is achy from the climb out too (5hrs). Not the easiest thing with soft skin from water and improper footgear. Actually, many on the trip were having foot problems. The water is extremely cold. The sun on the other hand could fire pottery.

So, I'm basically going to miss two more rapid runs. The other folks on the trip were great, the food was excellent, but life on the river does present some challenges.

Thanks for thinking of my mom. Again she is not doing well, but worse is that my aunt that helps her is in the hospital. She is in intensive care after a surgical procedure determined cancer. I just need to be there.

Hmmm ... I also am extremely angry at the Gillard stuff but it's actually a lot more than that. It's the way women are being treated in general. With the Jill case, that **** had so many priors for sexual violence, out on parole, re-offends but he's not put back in the slammer until he actually kills a woman. So what's the punishment for rape? Do a couple of years, say you're sorry and they'll let you out? I am so fusking angry with the Parole Board.

And then to give me further SOL, there's the new utterly disgusting crappage emerging from the ADF. How will those ****s be punished? A slap on the wrist? A whole network of arseholes secretly filming themselves having sex with women - colleagues and civilians, and then putting it out on the net. There'd better be heads rolling over that one - and pretty quickly too. If I think about this any more my head will 'splode.
