    That has been one of my favorites songs for a while now. It will now have a new meaning to me. Thanks for sharing.

      Thanks for posting the link. The more awareness, the better. It is astounding how common it is that austim affects children. It has touched my family also. Thanks also for fighting the fight. My hat is off to you!

              Beaches, I had NO IDEA, this is not highlighted anywhere ?????? Well, no where I know of anyway and I am a run of the mill person - WHY? Of course I have heard of Autism but what it means or what it is I am clueless. Enlighten us Sister !!!

                  You all are great. I got all welled up with tears when I saw that video. I keep playing it.

                  Tea, where would I begin....let's see a couple really good websites are Autism Speaks, Home Page and Home - :: Cure Autism Now :: Those would be great starts.

                    Autism is a genetic disorder that is relatively rare, but unfortunatly, hits the most wonderful children. It basically effects individuals in their ability to communicate and respond to those around them. There is much more involved, but that is the shortest term definition...these individuals can be brilliant, and beautiful, and just amazing...

                        I just saw this- thank you so much for bringing our childrens issue to the website. It is a beautiful video. So many people don't know or understand what we go through every day.

                        Maybe it should be moved to General so more people see it and gain awareness.

                        And to Bak, yes, our kids are gifts AND amazing.

                            Thanks Beaches, I worked with autistic children many years ago. I am in awe of you and your passion for autism. What I did learn was that many marriages don't hold up very well with autistic children. The video was wonderful.:h
