Hey Juja, I agree with your assessment that a quiet, natural world does wonders for clearing the head. I'm no longer a slave to the cell phone, mostly have it turned off and only carry it around to make outbound phone calls if need be. Even quit the smart phone plan when it hit almost $100 per month. It was pouring money down the drain IMHO and one of my many questionable traits is I'm cheap.
Mama, I'm so glad you have a prospect for a replacement. You need someone who helps not hinders and that monster did nothing but hinder it appears.

My cousin had another surgery today and I'm waiting to hear how it all went.

happy wednesday everbody,i keep thinking about that happy-ass camel in that office "hey what day is today" makes me chuckle a little,well daughter survived her rave came home with tiny bruises all over her legs and somebody broke her windshield in the parking lot but at least shes safe and its over,i can breathe again haha,other daughter with the baby still stresses me out with the drama of her and her man but i let in go in one ear and out the other i have to,anyways i hope you guys have a good day,were headed into heat wave weekend 117 predicted for sunday! oh well at least itll be too hot to drink,see ya later

117 in Vegas Pauly? Man that sounds absolutely miserable. I was in Vegas to run a race at the end of April at Red Rock Canyon and the elevation made it about 20 degrees cooler. It was absolutely beautiful scenery. Stay cool!2023 - focus, getting it done, and living the way it should be and being the person I need to be.Comment

BTW - I forgot to mention my son has a new job, which means he'll no longer be going back and forth to Pakistan! He's working for change.org and he's in Washington this week for a conference. Pauly - speaking of safe. I'm glad that your daughter is home safe & sound. I hate when my son goes to raves, etc. and he's 26.
JDG - I've been thinking about you & your daughter. I hope that everything is going ok.
Mama - glad you got rid of her. Sometimes it is just not the right fit.
Juja - how you doing?? I've never had a cleaner/housekeeper. I keep threatening to get one but my house is so disgusting now that I can't.
Hubby tried but it's not the way it should be. Oh well.....
K9 - you poor thing. Hang in there! Get addicted to some stupid tv show or something. :H
Allswell - How are you doing? You have sounded so much better. Are things going ok with you?
FT - you sound GREAT! Even with the traveling you are hanging in there.
I'm texting with my cousins partner right now. They were not able to close up his leg yesterday with the surgery. He went thru the surgery ok though which is wonderful. They moved him to ICU today. They are doing another CT scan tonight I believe. Trying to find out details. His poor body is just so weakened by all the years of taking HIV drugs. I guess he didn't develop AIDS but the drugs to prevent that have taken their toll. It just breaks my heart.
