    Howyiz all :waving:

Report on Graveyard / Pub malarkey attached :

Graves were blessed la, la, la,- never get it - some of the 'ramains' are there 100s of years Let it go folks !!!!
    So to the pub :
This is all a new concept to them - my not drinking. A phase - a kinda "but why" ????
I stayed the distance 'cos I want to PROOVE that a body can function & enjoy the chat without drink.
My SIL in particular after a few "are you not bored just there with your soda water ??" - and yes I was after while but I stuck it out -
not buying into that excuse to have to drink glass after glass of wine.

So I chatted away there - place full of drooling 'ol fellas - :yuk: - would prefer to be somewhere else - but stuck it out 'till 12.30.
Said out loud to DD at one point - 'well this is 3 hours of my life I won't get back' :H
Lesson learnt, another notch on my belt sobriety -wise .
Drove them home - I felt like a grown - up,
    It felt GREAT !!!

Hiya Molly, my son went to live with his snobby girlfriend's family on Monday and to be honest its a relief! He landed for his tea on Friday night and we had a long chat so things are ok now.

Its never warm enough for me to go swimming in this country! Seven years in Oz finished me with the UK weather. I should move and take the hound out but am comfortable and its back to work tomorrow.

        Marning Pinkles, marning Satzuma.

Fascinated about the blessing of the graves. Will have a good google later. Love old graveyards.

Now then the pub thing. A jolly big :goodjob: me darling. I'd have lost me patience after the 3rd glass of vino. And I know people must have got equally fed up with me drooling and dribbling and getting melancholy and then all back to my gaff thing.

And yes grown ups don't need to drink. Our brains don't need altering.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

                          Dear Mr d'Arsey
We commend you for your committment to all things running and on your efforts at cock crow this morning:thumbs:

But there is a little matter of the Army's breakfast ?
Some of the troops are wasting away and need sustinance forthwith.

If said sustinance is not forthcoming by 11 am we will be forced to get out of bed and off the couches to take drastic action.
                          Like bash you :bat:

                          Yours faithfully

Morning all - my body clock woke me up at 5:30 so I am enjoying the quiet. Another hot, humid, big-har day here in Philly. Looks like it is going to be a long, hot summer. Have a happy Sunday all.
