    Checking in

    Hi all,

I haven't been on here in a while! I just thought I'd check in and see how everyone is doing.

I'm still doing great. So far this year, I've been out and about, enjoying life and spreading the message that recovery is possible. I even partnered up to support a charity's Addiction Awareness event last month. I got asked to do a speech, and managed to meet Russell Brand there!

Last week, I also got a cool Recovery Tat! Anyone else got one?My newly-inked photo is here if you want to see. Yes, it is on my hand. I don't care - I'm not ashamed of sharing my journey, and reminding myself of the right path.

There have been some trials, too, as there always are in life. But nothing is ever the end of the world as long as I stay sober and try to find solutions. And these things always pass.

Overall, I'm happy and loving life. It'd be great to hear back from some people, old and new, to hear how you're all doing. Here is where it all started for me, so this forum will always mean a lot.

    Lots of recovery love,
    Kim (aka Beth, lol) x

                    Kimberley,

I'm doing really well, thanks. I tried modding after 7 mos of sobriety and it really solidified that I needed to quit. So, I'm back at it with 18 AF. . Feeling very strong this time. I thought I did before but I know now that there was still a part of me that felt like I was missing out. That feeling is gone at least so far. Also, my husband doesn't drink around me now, and that has made an enormous difference!

                    Best to you,

                    UN
