Well...no. 'Fraid I caved in late on Thursday and bought whisky. I'd been having cravings for a few days and kind of knew it was going to happen, so decided to get it out of the way. I'm straight back on the wagon today. Not going to call it another day 1, just taking it ODAAT again and going to try to hold out for as long as I can.

Quick check in from work while the Doc's away out with Mr S and so I don't get a skelping.

Reccie - ODAAT is the only way. For many the counting doesn't work/help. And I am a firm believer too that if one has been drinking every day and is able to even half the amount of days they are drinking (assuming they're not doubling the amount they are drinking on the other days), then hell, that's a helluva lot better than just giving in and drinking oneself into oblivion.

So I am sorry you caved but you sounds as if you are savvy to how your mind and body are working and you are right back there today with making today AF. Today is all that matters Reccie. :goodjob: It's a battle this journey and my god you're battling like only the best do.

Morning all! It's a gorgeous morning in Philadelphia - it rained like crazy yesterday due to a tropical storm. Flattened the hell out of my pentunias - hope they perk up with the sun! Graduation for the little one was wonderful. Had a nice lunch, then went out and about in the neighborhood for a little while with the family. It was beautiful. Hope everyone has a great Saturday
