Better get on with yer packing then! I hope the travel goes according to plan.

When my sisters cleared out mums house (I didn't, cos no.1 I wasn't asked to be involved and no.2 I couldn't deal with them - at all) they bundled up stuff and put it in a box or two for me to take - I couldn't look at them and still haven't, they are in my garage and dunno if I'm strong enough to see what's there ---mmmm - mebbe soon - in answer to what I keep - feckin loads - still have the kids baby clothes and comfort blankets - just CANNOT find it in me to throw things like that out..... someday what I keep could take over living space tho
Yes...I expect it'll be quite upsetting for you to open the boxes with things from your mum. I unearthed a few things today that made me quite sad, which was kind of why I brought the subject up. Definitely choose a day when you're feeling strong and perhaps also a day when Joe is around so's you can talk to him about how you're feeling.

Well done on the tidying up Reccie my house is small and can't have clutter so clear out every so often is needed. Mostly photos from my past as I had a few moves tru the years so never could hold on to much stuff. Always find room for more till the next clear out. Usually clothes books bric a brack cds and old bill receipts etc.
Hiya foxy Yep...moving frequently would be very good for helping to keep the clutter under control.

When I drink I let the house and garden go down and then when I get sober it takes ages to get back on track.... A bit much for one but ahh sure I just get on with it best I can.
      Same here foxy! :upset:

Been and had a read of your post, runners. It's a dreadful thing to do to go to work every day and not enjoy what you're doing - I speak from experience. I couldn't tell from your post whether you think the problem is with your job or with the way you feel towards it. If it's the former, then I'd say you're far to young to carry on with something you don't enjoy doing indefinitely. Time to contemplate a change. But will a change of job or career solve the problem? Only you can know the answer to that.

Well... I don't know if I'm the victim of a practical joke or is it postal theft. I received the following from Satz today... an EMPTY chocolate wrapper in a ripped envelope that has been taped back together again!!! :H:H:H

OMG! Pishing myself! Did some miscreant open it, eat it and post the evidence on to me?!!! :H

Do you know you can't just go to the bank and get travellers cheques now... need to order them. And my phone plan doesn't have international so I'll be totally cut off (which is prolly a good thing). I'm so bloody "last minute" for stuff like this, it's not funny. (
