Life's lessons can be hard but I am glad you feel that this relapse was a valuable lesson for your very good sober future. :-)
Like you, I have finally convinced myself after many, many tries that I cannot drink. At AA, they say, "Once a pickle you can never be a cucumber again." lol
I am fairly newly sober, myself. I hit 90 days on 6/13. I would be honored if you would support me and I support you as we go day by day sober and learning to get well again.
It has been with incredible joy that I have been able to spend time with my grandchildren sober lately and sitting around laughing, having fun and sharing love.
