Reccie I do the google earth stuff too!
Have to admit Ms A I am a bit 'fattist' - is that a word ?
Being brought up in a 'fattist' family I struggle to sympathize with people who just stuff their face all day - 'cos I know me & others have to WORK at IT.
But I KNOW too it's lack of knowledge ....

I have changed though - now it's all just to be healthy. No more diets for me after 40 years of it - I'm done.
If I give the ol body good natural ( as possible ) food then I've done my bit

Where are you off to in Wales?
Thanks for the info whizzy. Just received your text....that was a really kind offer...thanks ever so much! I'll PM you my address.

The current plan is to walk the North Wales Path from Prestatyn to Bangor, but having looked at the OS maps there don't seem to be many suitable places to pitch a tent, so I'm considering the Wales Coast Path around the Llyn peninsula from Caernarfon to Porthmadog as an alternative.

            :hallo: Army.

I'm fecking covered in cat fur. I had to hold the long-haired one while Mrs. T cut out the knots and matted bits. Have to do it every now again, but especially in winter. Last damn pedigreed cat we'll own. The three SPCA models are all short-haired. Also grateful for my chrome dome. Mrs. T and the youngest cub spend HOURS on their hair.

Off to watch a bit of telly. New series of Masterchef SA about to start. It was the finale of MC Oz earlier.

The wimmin will say you made the assumption because you're a typical MCP :H

I would imagine that folks who eat all day long must be addicted to eating in much the same way as we're addicted to drinking, so I do have some sympathy with them in that rergard. Where I have less sympathy is when they eat pure shite, as is often the case.

A happy looking teenager? Very suspicious indeed! How are things with Joey now, molls? Does he still see his friend (the one that didn't go to rehab after all)?

I also think people assume anorexics are wimmin -- (I'm also a culprit of that!!) - FALSE --- know a few guys over the years with very dodgy relationships with food, and this lad is truly scary lookin - he's 35 FFS!!![/SIZE]
Yeah....I was definitely guilty of assuming the anorexic was a woman. I checked and they reckon that 10 to 15% of people with anorexia or bulimia are male:

Prevention is definitely better than the cure tips here. Poppy is long haired and I comb her at least once a day, often twice. She's happier cos it makes it easier for her to groom herself and she doesn't ingest nearly so much fur, and I'm happier cos she doesn't deposit so much fur on the carpets.

Evening all some heavy rain showers here but mild. Ahh sorry to hear ur not well for your days off sweetpea but honey and lemon in hot water or lemsip might help. Hope you enjoy ur time off work and do something you enjoy. My cats hate being brushed both are shorthair but the younger one Prince is a bit fluffy with a bushy tail and should ber groomed more but he runs away when I try lucky he doesn't get matted its bits of grass leaves and small twigs stick to his coat at times. I know the feeling Molly not wanting to to AA and I missed it today but did cleaning instead and visited a friend. but i'll go tomorrow evening and I went yesterday and get will go to a few more before the weekend. Feeling bit tired now. Watching embarrassing bodies interesting if a bit gorey at times.

Just a quick evening all before we go out for our evening stroll/hop/shuffle/walk.

Funny auld morning at work that left me rather sad. Will try and explain when I get back.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

                                I'm back. didya miss me.
Starting to enjoy the evening stroll with the dog and me auld man. Cleared my mind somewhat.

It was just the overwhelming sadness over a young man who uses the services. He's very ill with his alcoholism and unfortunately his brain is starting to go.
Good thing is he's turning up but he has to be supervised as he's got vile temper when he kicks off and unfortunately on a last warning from our place. The safety of the other service users and staff have got to come first. Like I said very sad.
