    A TRIUMPHANT RETURN

So...I'm back from Vancouver. It is now officially my favorite city, at least for this time of year. I could live there I think.

Of course lots of drinking opportunities. I am so glad that I am sober! I have been to these things and really been stupid in the past. My big indulgence was food, so I'm sure I gained a few pounds but it's OK. Back home now and back to normal.

I saw a guy who used to be with our company, and back on my 50th birthday some of us were out here in Cary and he got really drunk. He was not in the office the next day and was found in the Raleigh jail for DUI. We were chatting on Tuesday and he told me he found an AA meeting the night before in Vancouver and went to it. I told him I am not drinking either, so it was kind of nice.

I'm not sure, but I think there was some speculation as to why I had dinner with people and soon left. I hear there was speculation that I had a man somewhere in Vancouver. HAHAHA-I do not care at all and I would much rather be talked about in this way instead of being talked about for being a drunken fool!

Before the big trade show we had 2 days of meetings. After the last part they brought in a dance troupe and we had to learn a 90 second dance and do a flash mob downtown in a plaza by the harbor. Soon to be on youtube. Hilarious actually.

Thank you all for being here as usual. Next week will be 6 months and I am very happy about that.

Hi Anne, I am 4 months AL on Tuesday and I hear exactly what your saying. It is so nice to go to events and not drink! It is also wonderful to wake up with a clear head and not waste the day! I am so grateful everyday! Have a great day and feel done on your 6 months!

So glad you enjoyed Vancouver. I was there this time last year and, although it was a family medical situation that brought me there, sure was impressed by the beauty and diversity of that city. Congratulations on the six months... so happy for you.
