I was a given a reprieve from cooking tonight, so Mrs. T decided she's having an egg mayo sandwich. Except she switched on the wrong plate on the stove to boil the eggs. Har har - I feel vindicated.

God knows how my Father's Day meal is going to turn out. I bought a lovely leg of lamb for it, but it needs to be roasted.

It looks interesting tips...I need to find out more about it.

Dawg... I'm Afrikaans-speaking. WTF is a personal noun?

Ah come ON Arsey - that's just a tease ---- wot ya thinkety thinkin?

Och, it's not big stuff... I'm just doing some serious teasing about what I
want to do... what I want to do when I get up in the morning to make a buck. What floats me boat.. . and TRYING not to compare myself with others. But that I find REALLY hard.

Suppose I've decided to have conversations with people and they're line of work. There's no danger in that - not committing to anything, not losing a job, just getting info. Like, for example, speaking to a colleague and friend at the posh skool about teaching (like proper classroom teaching)... just want to hear it from the horses mouth... no rush...

And i just emailed an edinburgh magazine about sending some words in that they might consider looking at for their next publication (no money in it...). It's a first. Just a start. May not come to anything any time soon.... y' know.... just wee things to tempt me...

I have a pretty good handle on English, I think, but don't throw formal grammar at me

OooooooohKay...... I gerrit now. A personal noun is what I would call a "voornaam" - literally translated as"name before"

                  2. I also call a personal noun a voornaam. e.g:

                  "I really like that voornaam"

"I really REALLY like that voornaam, that voornaam - she very bootiful"

"I wonder if that voornaam would make me my lamb?"

Mrs. T and the cubs are finally having their egg mayo. I had to intervene. Mum has luckily offered her skills for tomorrow's lunch.

We had a light-hearted discussion about what we wouldn't be able to do if the other had passed on during our daily commute the other day. Apparently my role in the family is cooking and internet banking :H

I wouldn't be able to fall asleep without my noggin scratch or get up without coffee in bed.

Don't mention the big think that I was going to do for D'arsey. I was on that long looks like he's worked it out for himself.
