Pleasant couple of hours with the son and heir. He's 25 today. I just love him lots and lots.

Funny what you remember of the day but my biggest one was cleaning the car inside and out and the woman next door saying that baby's going to be here today. Ha ha, says I, it's not due for another week......................how right she was.

Proper Mammy breakfast...........bacon and eggs...............done

Into town for a hair cut and to change the shirt we bought him. He doesn't like the collar ...........in progress

Back for lunch. Lasagne

Put some toons on his Mam's phone. Buggered if I know how to do it.

Orff out to play snooker then a meal with his GF.

Quick fly-by! Had a huge big walk today with a cousin, up a big frikken hill in the wind and a light sprinkling of rain (which, I am reliably informed, is not really "rain" unless you're getting knocked over by the size of the drops). I'm thinking of extending for another week... waiting for bloomin BA to get back to me to see if it's feasible or not. And orf to me mate's wot I've known since a wee one for me tea toight... steak I think it is. We had a drop-off of fresh fish earlier (people still bring you what they have lots of... it's really neat) so it'll be hake for tea tomorrow.

Jack the Cat is a new man since his shave. He's as happy as can be and all signs of grouchiness are gone. And his appetite is up and running. Seems like he was sweltering under the fur. (Not to mention the matting round the bottom area... that can't have been too pleasant...)

A cousin of a cousin has just arrived so I best toodle....

Hope a'body is in fine fettle! X
