Evening army its like winter here as well very cold windy and it was showery with sun here and there earlier. Went in to Dun Laoghaire on the bus got there bout just after 5.30 and started lashing rain when I got off the. Went to Insomnia caf? for coffee to escape the rain and it was busy enough. Went along seafront to see if anything was happening but all the cafes/restaurants had the outside tables all locked up and there was a few customers inside. The festival seemed to ended early no music and all the stalls packing up the few that were there. Not many on the pier or strand. Shud have stayed home it was winter had come real end of summer feeling. So ended up in poxy McDonalds and had a big mac meal first one in over a year. Rarely eat fast food but I was starving and wasn't in the mood to cook at home. Went for a short walk then bus home. Glad your festival was a bit better Rc. Dun Laoghaire is usually busy on Sundays but I guess the bad weather was to blame. Just watching come fly with me on tv gold then mrs Brown's boys. Didn't think the first episode of white queen was much good so think i'll miss that. Feeling a bit glum and bored here. :blah:

Yo Foxy, have one if these,:l
I will continue watching the White Queen. Once it gets going it's a good auld story.
But have a lewk at his.
This White Queen is such a travesty, Your Majesty! Why howlers like concrete steps, metal railings and rubber boots are turning TV's new period drama into a laughing stock | Mail OnlineIt could be worse, I could be filing.
AF since 7/7/2009

Ahh thanks Moll yeah just one of those days it will pass. I'm reading a good book at the mo called barefoot over stones by Liz Lyons good story so far. No hot chocolate haven't had that in ages must buy a tin next time i'm doing my shopping. Thanks for the link on white queen jc never noticed any zips in dresses last week while watching it:H and its based on a book by Philipa Gregory so wouldn't expect it to be acucurate with all the facts etc. Decided to watch Mrs Browns boys instead ned something funny to watch. Oh the choc raspberry dessert sounds divine molly. Glad to hear the two Guinea pigs are happy. Miss Saffron but have to move on. Called her that b cos of her coat which a kind of ginger and white. The moggies are playing in the back garden.

Evening Sweetpea sorry to hear you had a bad day too but its good you got to have time with ur da. Lost mine in mid 80's and miss him at times. Sorry your team got beaten but at least ur home. Got caught got in a heavy shower while out earlier but lucky I was close to a coffee shop so had a nice cappuchino and read the complimentary sunday newspaper. Just spoke to my sis in law on fb book messnager not long ago so arranged to call to her and my bros apartment tomorrow for coffee an chat so dat cheered me up a bit don't get to see them much as they are busy at times. Its just up the road from in Shankill village and i'm up that way tomorrow to pick a script frm dr's surgery and then get it filled in the chemist across the road. Liz Lyon was or still a journalist and I think she once wrote for the Herald or independent if I recall correct. I do remember reading one of her earlier books but can't recall the title. What library does she go to Molly? just curious.
