Bird - we saw some amazing word carving/ whittling stuff while we were in the US. The stuff I loved most was the really little teeny- tiny stuff- it was magic!

Feet up briefly for some forager's soup (anything you have left in the garden +stock+ seasoning + bee's dick of cream)

Managed to take a fair chunk of bark off two fingers with a hack-saw, clean up raised beds, harvest last of tomatoes, stake up new tomatoes who have decided it is spring, clean up the most enormous lot of dog doo in preparation for mowing when dry enough. Amazing how much you can get done out there, no matter whether you know where to start or not.

Bird that is hilarious. I'm just going to pelt left over veg over the deck from now on:H

Cheeses twice Undies ... I'm flummoxed. It seems I have my 29-yo nephew booked in for a 4-day sleep next week. He's a Melbourne boy but has a gig 3/4 of an hour from here so Auntie Frog is the obvious accommodation choice. He's a sparky. So please, all those with experience, how much food does a 29-yo tradie need? I actually don't know what's expected but feel I should offer brekkie, take-away lunch and dinner. Just give me a bit of a hint, will yas?

Haven't got any sparky jobs that need doing but I'm serious ... like... do my make three, four or five sangers? How many egg & bacon pies? How much fusking cake do I have to bake? How much fruit do they eat?

I'm fine with dinners but the rest of the day has me discombloodybobulated ...

Go with a two of each rule...as in two sangers, two pieces of fruit, two slices of cake, but you know, he's 29...can't he make his own sangers? And I really hope this ones not a vego...

No, not a vego thank fusk and really good eater - the only no-no is pumpkin or other 'smushy' food. Guess we'll sort it out and yep - I'm sure he can make his own sangers but I'm trying to be a little bit nice. ***yes, well may y'all chortle***

He works six days a week and does most of the home cooking/shopping and he's got a 2-year old - so I'm hoping he'll actually have a bit of down time while he's here.

I think he'll be one hell of a lot easier than grasshopper but ....

                        Sounds like a frittata situation.
