And finally to the guessing competition. What is Mr Rags baking for me?????
A tray of Lurpak brownies with a meringue swaddled baby jesus centrepiece?

I don't believe that snake. Predators would have a field day.

    Morning all,

Yes Cindi - I did indeed get to watch Reggie on his boat.

Birdy - placed that table yet?

Bloody cold. Can't type. See you in a bit.

      Happy Monday my friends!

Jeez Louise it was a tad chilly this morning. I reckon the trick is to get up a bit later than you have to, then make like crazy to get out the door. Lady Dharma didn't like the idea of getting out of her bed this morning. It's bright and sunny where she spends her day so she'll be alright.

Hope the curry is a success Cyndi.

Rags - I reckon it's a lone, weirdly shaped sconey thing.

Bidy - can we expect a pic of placed table?

Back shortly....believe it or not I've got work to do here at the command post. How bloody in.con.weeeeeen.ient!!!!!

Another chilli greeting - frost on the lawn! Can't concentrate till I complete the Roswell Google doodle this morning, so, brb!!!

Just one thing though - Masterchef - Macaron tower last night. George and Gary kept calling them macaroons while the others said macarons. i thought the debate was over and everyone was on the macaron side?

          More in-depth philisophical musings later...

Blondie, I am NOT falling into the Roswell trap...I'd avoided it all morning...then when you posted I thought, well, just a little peek....its a slippery slope my friend...

All done - I kept getting stuck in the hole.

Am reading the SMH recap of last night's episode - quite funny (though I like Ben [forget his surname's] recaps) just to see if he mentions the ron/roon thing. Did you see Liliana's home effort?!

Anyway, caught a glimpse of Reg our Cheshire cat - thanks for the webcam! Missed you on deck though.

Spent ages booking most of our trip to the east and NZ - as soon as all paid for Qantas announce their sale. Golly gosh, I said.

Still to book Sydney hotel - funny but views of the opera house/bridge aren't a draw for me any more. Would like some water views, but. Got a load of Hyatt points but not enough for a night there - $800+/night!

Close- ish, and it was served on a sort of kidney bowl affair.

TF, did you really watch Reg dock his boat? Or am I, as usual, taken?

The picture of the snake is a little suspect. I've never heard of or seen one that colorful. Can't see the tail but suspect it is a rattler.

Coyotes may be able to run faster than a road runner, but the little guys can fly, so they are fairly safe from Wiley. Loved watching them when I was living in Oklahoma. They really did run along the roads.

Rags, not sure what hubby is cooking for you. Have you upset him in some way?

                  Googling Afghan bread.

Which reminds me. I am trying all different kinds of curry recipes but not having great success. Any advice on recipes and ingredients? I like the milder yellow curries.

Reggie, I would love to actually hear you speak.

                  Love,
                  Cindi
                  Hi Cinders,

                  Yep, Tawn definitely saw Reggie.

The snake colour has been ramped up a bit, but even so it is very beautiful.

I was always on Wiley's side, and I hate Tweetie. Thylvethter is my hero.

Have a crack at this. I make it in the winter.

                  CURRIED LAMB SHANKS
                  ? 1 tbs peanut oil
? 4 large (about 2kg) lamb shanks, French trimmed
? 2 brown onions, halved, thickly sliced
                  ? 125ml (1/2 cup) curry paste, thawed
                  ? 2 x 400g cans diced tomatoes
                  ? 750ml (3 cups) beef stock
? 1/4 cup fresh curry leaves
                  ? 1 x 200g ctn natural yoghurt
? 1 cup coarsely chopped fresh coriander
                  ? Naan bread, to serve
? Preheat oven to 160?C. Heat half the oil in a large flameproof casserole dish over high heat. Add 2 lamb shanks and cook, turning, for 5 minutes or until browned. Transfer to a heatproof bowl. Repeat with remaining shanks.
? Heat remaining oil in the dish over medium heat. Add onion and cook, stirring, for 5 minutes or until soft. Add curry paste and cook, stirring, for 1 minute or until aromatic. Return lamb shanks to the dish with the tomato, stock and curry leaves and bring to the boil. Transfer to oven and bake, covered, turning occasionally, for 2 hours or until the lamb is tender. Set aside for 5 minutes to cool. Season with salt and pepper.
? Place yoghurt in a bowl. Add 1 tablespoon of lamb mixture and combine. Continue adding lamb mixture, 1 tablespoon at a time, stirring between additions, until yoghurt is warm. Add the yoghurt mixture to the lamb mixture and combine. Stir in the coriander.

Nup, haven't upset him, he is making something rather unique.

Reggie is the strong and silent type. He has no need of the spoken word. He has very articulate eyebrows. :H

Nah, we don't have squirrels here, though I suppose it could look like a baby possum. But nup, not corrects. Keep guessing.
                  I'll google rattlesnakes in a bit .

Speaking of GOOGLE, what's with the Martian and the little spaceship? I can only get him as far as the bar and the chook.

I thought he was a retired tennis player

Tawn, it is indeed being baked in a Lurpak baking dish and you get extra points for imagination.

Happs, I have never ever heard a macaroon being pronounced ron . Is it MC having a bit of a go?

Hi Happs, Yes, it is slightly crescent ish shaped.

Blondie, I started walking to the right and got to the barn. I then went back after your post and walked left . I think I milked the cow. I am now down a deep hole with a bag of wheat, a can of radioactive fueal, a bit of rope and a horseshoe.

Sorry, meant to say barn. I gave up when I went down the hole.
