Geeesh ... what's with those desert dwellers?

        In news closer to home:

Another Government study provides outstanding results . . .

CSIRO Officials admitted that they found about 200 dead crows on the highway between Noonamah and Palmerston, in Northern Territory, where there was concern that they may have died from Avian Flu. The Territory Government approved and the CSIRO contracted a bird pathologist to examine the remains of all the crows and he confirmed the problem was definitely NOT Avian Flu, much to everyone?s relief. However, he determined that 98% of the crows had been killed by impact with trucks, and only 2% were killed by car impact. (Didn't know there was a difference!) The Territory Government then hired an Ornithological Behaviourist to determine the disproportionate percentages for truck versus car kills.

After 18 months of research and $2.7 million spent, the Ornithological Behaviourist determined the cause in the deaths. When crows eat road kill, they always set-up a look-out crow in a nearby tree to warn of impending danger.

His conclusion was that the lookout crow could say ?Cah?, but he could not say ?Truck?.

I just wanted to make sure that you knew your tax money was being well spent . . .

I worry will anyone show up and other dumb stuff. I did have a drum circle a couple years ago..the arts center offered me a job teaching in the projects. There were kids from just walking to older teens, no parents with them, running wild..very difficult..I'm thinking if it were my own thing it may be easier...still...I am scared..
Sounds great Bird. I reckon if you have a passion for something, the other details take care of themselves. If you can get a safe, cool venue, then go for it. The rythyms/grooves you lay down will attract and have their own magic. People will love it. Everyone loves a groove. There's no escaping it! Go for it.

Hi everyone! How's all the Undies doing?

It's been too long since I posted for a proper read back - I'd have no idea where to even start so just to say - Congrats on everyone's successes and I hope your disappointments don't take too much of a toll. I hope everyone is truly well.

I've been wanting to post that, during my vacation a few weeks ago, I took a 5 mile walk on the boardwalk each morning and was nearly overcome many times by the overwhelming urge to Prancercize.
Well it's all right now. I've learned my lesson well. You see you can't please everyone, so you've got to please yourself.

That's hard to deal with Glassy - such a bugger wondering it will ever be "normal" again. Hang on in there :l

CAn you send Melody to my work next week please - didn't finish up until 6:30 tonight and I wasn't the last to leave!!

Now I'm tucked up in bed Bridge style with the lappie, my book, and the last of the ice-cream. I justify my buying large quantities of this particular brand because it is local (Marrickville). Ironically, I never ate much ice-cream before I moved to Sydney:H:H

Hi Missy the Marrickville Mauler! hehe.

Yep, that's our Kimberley. She is a recovery coach now with her own website/you tube clips etc. The link is probably in her profile, but i can send you one if it's not there.

Hi Siren! Somehow i can imagine you on the boardwalk in pink spandex and yellow headband getting sweaty with prancercise. Reg would look lovely if not alluring in same.

G'day Reggie! Glad Regina sings in tune. We sure need more of this in the world!

thanks reg, you're a gem. I've been having a few ups and downs, but I'm managing. So much has changed over the last six months that at times I haven't known where to start on knowing who I am any more. But I feel like I just need to sit with it and see where I am at the end of the process. I feel a bit like a snake shedding it's skin ..... ;-)

and I really miss Mr B and our cats, but I also suspect that it is good for me to be working through some of this stuff on my own .......

I do think it is unfair though that I haven't managed a work-paid trip to Melbourne yet :H:H
