    Nicey I'm bowing in your presence - I'm never met a Chief Proctor before.

    My mother often describes someone as being "All fur coat and no knickers". But then we're Welsh and they say a lot of very strange things there. She also says her head is like a bucket when she has a headache, which makes no sense at all.

    I live in a double-storey sardine can, but it has a little garden so I'm happy. And I can dry my sheets on my balcony.

    I can leave some snacks tonight if you like. Let me check the fridge and I'll see what I can whip up between now and bedtime.

        Aww...aren't you lovely! Unfortunately I don't lilt so much any more. Going through school in Oz in the seventies soon knocks that out of you, unless your definition of fun is having your head flushed. Julia Gillard is a good example of that, but luckily I haven't gone that far with the Oz accent either! I'm somewhere in between.

          and talking of being all fur coat and no knickers, I just checked the fridge and think I was being a bit optimistic offering the snacks, seeing as mine appears to be heavily weighted towards providing for our feline friends.

          I can see I'm going to have to be rather creative, unless you're a fan of Dine dip with Whiskas wafers.

              In a pinch I can also probably cater for canines, chooks, guinea pigs and small rodents. I also have heaps of blankets and several options for any critters that like the prime place in front of the heater.

              The people they own are welcome too.

                  Evening all! hi Rags...have you eaten the Lindt yet? I'm only touching 85% now and not much of that either...

                  Anyone tried the hot smoked salmon from Coles? its lovely, just had it over some boiled kipflers, with pesto drizzle and some vegies from the garden. And caperberries...very yummy...

                    Ok, so I’ve foraged through the fridge, freezer and pantry and managed to rustle up enough to hopefully keep you all going through the night – including some healthy, low fat and gluten free goodies.

                    How does this sound?
                    Chilli tofu nuggets, a packet of ZUCCHINI & ALMOND FLATS | fine fettle with hommus, roasted Fav-va nuts, raw peanuts, strawberries , home-grown cherry tomatoes, apricot delight, a Lindt Easter bunny and some Fun Sticks (misleading advertising if ever I’ve heard it)?

                    It's not what I'd normally choose, but will it keep you all going until morning?

                        That's Ok Happy. I totally understand and genuinely hope that your conscience doesn't cause you any digestive issues. You know, what with potentially feeling guilty about depriving anyone more needy and all. Enjoy!! :H

                            Geez it's nice having you around Glassy! I use your saying about bless their hearts after I say something nasty - makes me feel absolutely sinless!!!!

                            I won't have snacks tonight thanks. When I get stressed out of my brain, my stomach shuts down and well.....I'll spare you the details. Suffice to say I'm in "creating less chaos" mode.

                              so here I am getting ready for bandcamp again..looks like this is the place to dine...I had cheese and a tomato on a piece of bread under the broiler for brekkie....Tawn, my current chooks wont come in the house for some reason......I have lived in apartments but didnt like it much...I live on a farm in a little trailer. Lots of the farmers here put a few trailers on their land to supplement their income....I like it, woods on 3 sides, wildlife galore...forgot to tell you all, I bought some Lurpak!
