after our trip to the US in May-June, during which Mr B and I exhausted ourselves (and not necessarily in a food way) we are re-thinking the "how" of how we do our traveling. We tried to do too much along the way and learned a few lessons.

Bridge, I've had that talking to from my Dr as well. I've made a bit of headway on things during the course of July, but I've been a bit blue and miserable and unmotivated. So I've decided that I am going to nominate August as a month in which I will not do anything that doesn't make me happy or feel good. I've picked up an ice-cream habit which rivals my old wine habit - ie; keep going until there is no more left. :H So I'm knocking that on the head (afet the tub currently in the freezer has been eaten tonight - but its only a small one )

August is also the month in which I am going to take on my new boss. There have been a few broadsides since I have been back from holiday, in which I have tried to sort out a few things that have been raised with me by our staff. But I can see a bit of a show-down on the horizon which is likely to be a bit bruising. I will deal with it as diplomatically as I can however. He talks the talk but does not walk the walk, so it is largely a question of sorting things so that commitments that have been made are honored. Nicey, he sounds a lot like your Master and Commander. Academic egos with a lot of brain power and no EQ.

I'm having a burger tonight. Cant be bothered cooking and I feel like a decent hunk of meat! Luckily there are some good burger places close - proper beef and nothing processed

Hi undies ...Blows dust off and watches tumble weed blowing down the street..tis quite here... sorry for the deletion urge....Im just never happy with my posts.... once Mr G has his qualifications I hope I can get a long couch session as to why I engage in this strange behavior...Heir Doctor G will sought me out

Been battling depression lately my stupid brain keeps trying to convince me that by constantly engaging in self flagellation for past f..ck ups and torturing myself I will be able to solve my past mistakes and regrets ...wrong

Any way you can follow my thought on #twitterreginaldsbigbrain..second by second updates.

Aside from that i think I need to see some art ..looking forward to seeing the Oz Impressionists one at the NGV hopefully next week ..thats shore to adjust my perspective to the right direction..

I would like to move too. This is an ok place to raise kids but then.....idk. I keep thinking I'd like to work the cruise ship gigs when the kids get out of school. I see ads all the time where they are looking for jazz players..Mr. G, good for you!! I am taking some classes myself online. ...Tawny, I went to Switzerland a couple times when I was a kid, since we lived in Germany..it was very beautiful......Missy, I am having the ice cream problem too. Really I would like to end the whole sugar mess but I am afraid to at this point..Techie, always love your photos....been raining here everyday for weeks. Wish I would have planted a large garden. Still might plant a couple quick grow stuff, it wont be cold anytime soon....

Hello friends. I am off to Santa Fe & Taos NM for ten days. Staying at Viola's cabin in Taos after a two night stay in Santa Fe. We plan to hike, walk, read, and just decompress. Online access will be sketchy at best but will make every effort to drop in and say hello. I will take lots of pics.

Of course, I could never leave without saying I love you guys and will keep you all tucked close to my heart.

Missy I just keep putting the whole health thing off, or making good progress then getting dietary ADD and losing patience with it. This Dr was exceptional. No lectures, just information and being very frank about his own experiences and how he put changes in place. He ran a marathon for his 40th birthday as a result.
It takes an entire lifestyle change not just a diet. Then I remembered the other total lifestyle changes I've made *insert meaningful stare* and realised that I can do it, and have. It has to be a major priority if not the major priority. Strokes and cardiac arrests are not a good look.

So that's my Sunday morning sermon.

Bird there is nothing to stop you heading out there and planting loads of stuff in pots and grow bags

Switzerland...I had the most lovely BF from her shores (not that she has shores). Beautiful place. I remember the clean crisp air most of all. Very little industry.

I reckon we should all swap homes for a month and rotate round, just for a change of scenery.

Some guy told my friend and I to visit them in Switzerland, so we did. The look on his face was bad enough, but his girlfriend spent every moment with us giving us daggers :H How to explain - these are 2 girls I met on holiday?!

Missy - must be hard coping with all those changes and Mr B in NZ; so ditching the ice cream can wait.

well, I always miss the Reggiecam, darn..you should give us more warning Reg...interesting vid Mr. G....I have had some problems throughout my life with people not liking my Indian self. One thing I noticed when we went to Alaska was everyone looked like me and it was very comfortable...too bad some peeps have a prob with looks....sometimes I weonder if cats and dogs think that way,,,hmm, I fancy the black and white cat over the orange one..it seems to be that way in the world of chickens, the pecking order hahah..Bridge, almost bought some tomato plants today but kinda broke...have a house full of teens overnight...tomorrow we are going to Atlanta with other marching band members to see the drum corp championships.
